I just left Telluride Friday. Stunning. Can’t give any trail advice. Left the Bronco at home because my F150 is a much more comfortable traveling vehicle. There were a lot of folks in Ouray headed out to trails though in side by sides and adventure bikes.
Well at least we can't read the license plate and conduct nefarious activities. Good thing it's not visible to all those other folks that see it wheel you are driving around.
Costco is about 1.5 miles from my house (along with Buc-ee's, and Bass Pro, and throw in a new Walmart with fuel to be completed in the next several months) so thats where I go unless I'm traveling.
Removed my canvas Jtop bimini and installed a Bronco Bikini bimini. Just didn't like the velcro on the Jtop and it flaps around to much. Haven't road tested the new top yet so we will see. It its much tighter.
Almost never use 6th. Running 70-75 on I-95 (which is rare because it's usually going about 10 mph. if you live here you know) RPM's are under 2000 and it just spools up the turbo constantly.
I recently purchased one of these as well and the crank handle is on the back. I have plenty of room so not an issue but the side mount would have been preferred just so it's not sticking out. Otherwise it works as advertised.
Had mine replaced a while back with the OEM glass. Had Geico at the time so no "out of pocket cost" but it does show up on a CLUE (comprehensive loss underwriting exchange) report as a claim which will result in higher policy cost. Probably just better off paying the $1,000 or whatever it cost.
The Tacoma is the most uncomfortable vehicle I've ever owned. I'm 6'2 and 200 lbs so maybe it just suits smaller folks better IDK. Underpowered and the automatic transmission is terrible. I've owned 2 of them (slow learner I guess) both TRD long bed double cab. The 2021 had to have the engine...
