I think that was a 2025 thing, I said it kinda assuming you already knew it haha
Gotta start using the reply option brother. I’m just assuming you are talking to me 😂

Didn’t keep up on the 2025 options. Just knew they killed the wildtrak so the only thing I was interested in after that was the Outerbanks

Won't lie... this definitely one of those vehicles that will live or die based on the price point they're able to hit.

But I like it. If they can build it for less or around the same cost of a Badlands trim, I could see it doing well.

For me... I'm a sucker for neon green/gray (or neon orange/gray) colorways so this would be at the top of my list if it was offered with a manual transmission. It's not, so I'm more inclined just to buy the RTR kit they already sell. But still cool it'll come from the factory like this.

Yeah, I was talking to you. I remember when I saw it originally that SierraBronco's going to love the badlands now as you can option into everything he likes, and not get the one he hates. SASbanks on foxes would be a pretty nice ride.

Bespoke seat covers and seat belts at least would have more appeal, otherwise its a theowback to era when every mfg had a special edition sticker package with 3rd party co-brand.

Its a pretty desperate move bit lots free press I guess somit paid for itself.

At least FIAT did it right with FIAT500 Gucci with bespoke interior, wheels, emblems, stickers, body color, and threw in a Gucci leather jacket haha thats would cost approx $5K today.

That’s awesome 😂

And absolutely! The swaybar disconnect is cool, but tying it into the computer is not, especially when they seem to be prone to breaking. On the long travel build I went super thick on the rear swaybar but there are a couple problems there as it might limit articulation while still not preventing roll with how soft the suspension will be and with 18”+ of travel. I might need to throw in a front swaybar to keep it manageable. The electro disconnect would be an awesome option, especially not being tied in to the computer.

I’ve had friends with the older badlands where the engine cuts out during super technical and steep climbs. When restarting it the swaybar reconnects 😂😂😂 Not an awesome feeling, apparently

Huge miss on not adding lime green nipple rings.

Idk fam, all of that for 33s?

Take the raptor suspension and heavy duty shi, and put it on a regular bronco. Give it a 2 and 4dr option. Call it Troodon if you will and get the reference. I bet your ahh people would line up to buy it!

Most of us realized Braptor is too large for most wheeling. So we take our regular Broncos and either converts them into one with all the HD stuff or we build even better and more rugged Broncos. Give us something like that, something mid-point that regular consumers can mall crawl and we the crazy ones can take it anywhere! And don’t put f#cking 33s, come on, are we regressing?

You pushed jeep to create the recon package and start selling 392s, and now you going back to small tires… idk.. that’s very underwhelming. I’m a big fan of RTR and am a little disappointed. Happy for the guys, but still slightly disappointed. Give us at least an option for fake 37s like ko2s.

I think you kinda have to sort through what they're doing. The version on 33s is just an appearance package, for more money and less capability than a sas bronco. I could throw sas takeoff coilovers and badlands takeoff wheels/tires for a similar performance point on my big bend and likely save a ton of money.

It seems to me you have to add sasquatch to this in order for there to be any "magic". And that magic is the fox shocks. As a turnkey option, with the HOSS 3.0, it's probably cheaper than a Badlands specced to get HOSS 3.0. YAY! right?

Unless you decide to just get the foxes from Ford Performance and install them yourself on your basequatch which cost a lot less money. So, ultimately, you're paying an awful lot of money for Ford to install the coilovers and an appearance package from an aftermarket vendor.

pffft. I would be interested in this RTR if they did a 2Dr hell all the off road stuff is basically 2Dr so for the life of me can't figure out why they keep pushing 4Dr mall units other than well thats the majority of real sales. You could basically do a 2Dr Badlands RTR build DIY minus the graphics, all the parts they are using have Ford #s.

So who's going to do the write up for the Raptor fan swap for those of us who live through AZ summers lol
Also, it'd be cool if the anti-lag is legit anti-lag that dumps/ignites fuel when off throttle to keep the turbo spooled. Would be even better if it's a factory backed tune we buy separately and install on the 25 2.3L since the 25 tuner isn't out yet.

you said it yourself; the majority of sales are 4 door. That's what most people either want, or think they need.

That's why I'm going with Wish Wildtrak. It's got the big things we associate with wildtraks, but misses out on a lot of the other things you got with that trim.
