Also running this cap for 2+ years, been great with no issues.

Wow, thats some ametuer/low quality 3D printing. I wonder if they bothered insuring their material is resistant to gasoline. I guess it must be reasonably resistant based on how long you've been running it.

Not going to lie, it was pretty laughable how "3d printed" it looked when I opened up the amazon package.

That said, It's held up reasonably over time but I'm also really diligent about residual gas spillage once the pump clicks off.

I recently went to put some fuel additive in my tank and was impressed by how difficult it is to stick any in there. It would not accept the bottle like it does a gas station pump handle. I don’t know how this thing works that ford created, but it’s not just an open port for anything to just be jammed into the fiuel tank.

Your Bronco should have come with a funnel specifically for pouring gas from a can into the filler neck. Or ours did, anyway.

What do you care what he’s worried about? He’s asking for help. Either offer some assistance or STFU!

My advice. 3 parts.
1- Don't buy a locking gas cap. It's pointless. If someone is going to steal your gas, they'll poke a hole in the tank anyway.
2- Move to a nicer area if you're that concerned. If you can afford a new car, you can afford to move out of the slums.
3- Don't bet on slow horses

Don't need a drill, had 2 holes (one to vent) punched in my 97 Rav4 gas tank at a train station parking lot. If they want it, they will get it......Love NJ!
Where was that at? I'm in Jersey. Nothing like that really goes on where I'm at. There were some meth heads going around stealing catalytic converters and batteries a few years ago. I heard through the grapevine that they targeted the wrong people and got what they deserved

Absecon, NJ Train Station. Off of Rt 30. Happened in 2020 if I remember correctly. Replaced the tank myself at home in my garage. I was as shocked as you. I kept the clunker because I thought the car would not draw attention to it at the station when I parked there. Now I park at Egg Harbor City. Better lighting and more local patrols since there is a town park in the same area as the station.

The Rav4 has a hump in the gas tank, Even though the tank was pretty full I figure they only got about 4 gallons of gas.

I wish they had a locking door, a little protection goes a long way.

I've had gas siphoned out of my tank multiple times. It's never happened with my wife's car with a locking gas door parked right next to mine.
Are you stating that you had gas siphoned out of your Bronco?
