The last ota update I received was months ago for improved window functionality. Since then nothing. Based on other threads here I am missing out on newer ones. Auto update settings haven’t changed but nothing new is getting pushed to me. Any help would be appreciated.

OTA updates don’t come out that often. Also, even when there is a new one, not everyone gets them at the same time.

Yeah the OTA updates are released in a rolling fashion. It's not like everyone gets it at the same time.

Personally got one last week. It was my first OTA update since September 2024.

Check to see if your WiFi is still connected. I checked recently and was surprised mine had got disconnected

I haven't got one in over a year now.
Same here. If I am getting them the Ford Pass app and my car data isn’t telling me.

@vdob I have your VIN. OTA history is only recorded for 180 days at a time, and it shows no OTAs have been sent to you in 180+ days. Connectivity is working fine on your truck and it is not reporting any codes that would indicate any issues other than some low battery voltage codes since it seems like you do not dirve it very often. I am able to ping your truck and pull connected data, so it is talking to the cloud.

The voltage codes may prevent an OTA from installing if it is sent, but it will not prevent the OTA trigger from being created on the server. Not getting an update in 6 months + is not abnormal at all. The OTA process is unpredictable and unreliable.

Can @flip can you check updates?
He has helped me with looking into this greatly. Unfortunately it seems like I’m stuck in a situation where the dealership won’t be willing to dig into my issue beyond charging my battery without a glaring issue.

Just do what I did.

Turn them off and watch as they download and install anyways.
That would be annoying. I turned mine off when I bought it and haven’t allowed one to install.

FORD doesn’t have the courtesy to tell me exactly what is being changed and why, so I see no reason to risk screwing up something that seems to be working.

I just noticed that the update that I'm pretty sure got tossed on during my last warranty visit "fixed" an issue with my head unit.

fixing meaning that I can no longer interact with my screen more than five times before the nanny comes on with a 'safety pause'.

To make sure I really get the message, IT EVEN DOES THIS WHILE PARKED.

So thanks for that, Ford. You've made my vehicle *less* safe because now if I want to actually pick an album to listen to, I have to pick up my phone.

Really wish i had someone to send my VIN to right now.

There are certain things I can see with the VIN in PTS, but I am not sure I fully understand your issue. What do you mean by "safety pause?
