There have been a plethora of 2.7 tunes and products for years. It's the 2.3 that was only very recently hacked, and as explained in this thread products are not here yet but soon forthcoming.... maybe I don't understand your question...

Finer control over parameters. This can actually write to the car’s ECU and permanently change more values. Better compensation for added mods.
