I would not consider honeycomb aramid paper "corrugated cardboard". It's much more rigid, and water resistant. I'm guessing even a cracked top will go many many years without any kind of degradation due to weather.Once the MIC tops have been around a few years and warranties are not covering them any longer the delamination will open up the core to water. Leaks will be inevitable because these tops are fabricated from corrugated cardboard and you know what happens to cardboard once it gets wet.
