I think it even looks better than having the whole roof on.
I agree! Once we get past this weekend and the hard rain in the PNW, I'm taking the tub off. I have a decent cover for overnight outside. Even if it gets a little wet, I have MGV and no carpet anywhere. I just wipe it down.

Just an FYI, that Storage for the jack etc. will get water in it and it will not drain out or dry out on its own. There’s a plug you can pull out to get the majority of the water out, but unless you whipe it out and leave it open to dry, it will rust everything in there.

I found out about that plug right after buying the rig. Checked out the "trunk" one day and everything was wet. I pulled everything out to dry it off and the plug was pulled, so I got road water in there. Wiped it al down and left things out to dry, plugged the hole and it's been fine ever since.

I do hear what your saying. It's easy enough to check if I get caught in a rain storm.

The Sunrider bolts in at the back and I had no problem running it without the clamshell on my 2-door. The bad thing about living in Oklahoma is you get about a 15 minute notice before bad weather rolls in.

The one in the picture with the Bronco (that your keen eyes spotted) is an 84. Painted orange. I recently sold it, and I swear the guy taunts me with FaceBook posts of it in the woods 😂😂

I have brackets designed and going through testing right now. Should be available in the next couple of weeks.
Any update on these brackets? I'd be very interested to see what you come up with.

In a google search, I came across this page from facebook. I don't use FB and don't have an account so I can't contact the guy.

This is the guy I worked with to help refine it. I have finished testing. I’ll post pictures shortly. Message me for more info.

Printed out of PETG @ 75% infill for strength. Each bracket uses 2 factory bolt holes in the roll bar

There are 2 versions, A & B. The only difference is the print orientation. I personally like A better, but B has a smoother finish.

@SATXBD did you make these for sell or did it not take off?

Was there a different solution that became popular?
