@BoverW and @F-Spot : Did the buckling happen with the rack unloaded? Were PaxRax installed?

@TrailRax : any opinions?
Rack was and has been completely unloaded. PaxRax was installed at the same time as the TRMR...nothing mounted on the PaxRax either. Given the diagonal locations of the bends, I really think its just due to the body flexing of the Bronco being transferred to the rack.

Trying to get caught up on this thread. From the recent pictures of the unloaded rack with bends in the 90 degree bend, it likely happened in shipping and if the delivery time was within the last 14 days we can try to open a claim with UPS. In turn then can replace those side panels.

With some of the concerns made in this thread on the front end damage of our racks, reach out to our CS at [email protected] and we can investigate on what caused it and if it is under a manufacturer defect, we will warranty it per our warranty policy.

Thanks for the experiences guys. I was planning to pull my tent, rack and top at some point in the spring to install some overhead panels and I think I'll just batch in the ford performance body braces if I can.

That would definitely be the perfect time to add them

No. It is not compatible with the TOR top. The B pillar brace I have it before I installed my top. Cole made a quick mod to install it back but then I realized it no longer provides any meaningful support.

Did you ever get this brace and did it fix it? Do you need to get one for each side or just the one side will do?
No. Not worth it. But anyway, it is sold as a pair.

Thanks, the website was not that specific.
I just came back from Overland Mtn West and was talking to Prinsu and they are offering a 15% discount on Bronco racks and was thinking about getting the PRO. Trailrax is only giving 10% off. Like you said earlier, I like the lower profile of the Prinsu but like the option to remove front panels on a whim (Trailrax). How hard is putting on the front section? I may go Prinsu and only do the rear section for Fall/Spring (when i take panels off anyways) and go full rack Summer & Winter.

You should look at the RCI rack you don't have remove the front section to remove the roof panels its on sale for $857.99

Not bad. I was talking with someone else just now about the Prinsu and they said that if you loosen & move the front cross braces back you can then remove the front panels. Would love to see if that does work. @BoverW would you be willing to try that and report back ? The 15% discount is only for the next 5 days

Sorry, I don't have prinsu. You can ask others. 15% is good for now, but I think their Black Friday discount was 20% last year. But who knows if they will raise their MSRP or not with all the tariffs on aluminum?

If you are still there, can you check their bracket? Does it still look like this? To me, this is the dealbreaker.
