2021 models don’t have the mounting locations for a rear swaybar. I don’t see any information about the install in the instructions. But, the kit says it’s compatible with 2021…hmmm
Same concern

also figures, I just bought fox Elites. Not sure how these compare.
likely would have gotten the hoss with points.

Hmm for less $$ one could order the Bilstein 6100/6112’s. I understand you get a warranty but I haven’t seen a direct comparison between the two. Are these better than 6100’s?
Not only that, but you also get ride height adjustabilty and for a LOT less money.

So I was doing my typical parts hunting for my Bronco Break series on YouTube (also because I'm obsessed and apparently have nothing better to do). Tonight's parts hunt found something I did not expect, and I'm sure many of you will be interested in it. So I'm sharing it now rather than waiting for the video.

Ford is now selling the HOSS 3.0 suspension kit standalone through Ford Performance! Comes with both front and rear coilovers, and a rear stabilizer bar. The wording in the product description suggests that it's intended for installation on a non-Sasquatch Bronco, but I don't see why you couldn't use it on a Sasquatch Bronco if you wanted—you just might end up with a stabilizer bar that probably matches the one you already have.

LINKS:

(ps. If anyone in the northeast buys this and doesn't need the stabilizer bar, let me know. I'll buy it off of you.)

2.8K for four coilovers is a pretty good deal.

I haven't ridden on the FOX HOSS 3.0s. However, if they are anything like the Raptor Fox shocks it is a plush experience. I'd highly consider these for ride quality and performance.

Bilstein 6100s are terrible. I do have experience with these... Ride quality is worse than the factory Hoss 2.0s. They also can't control rebound travel. It feels like the suspension is ripping itself out when it unloads. Even on slower trail type travel. They are adjustable but not easily. Really no less effort than swapping springs which you can do on the factory Fox shocks. Firm to the point of being a bit harsh for street driving. But they are cheap! :)

We swapped the springs on the Raptor and enjoy awesome ride quality + lift and load capacity. I'd go the same route on these if desiring lift.

Interesting, it says these won’t fit 2024 Broncos.

Typical for Ford Performance parts.

I don't know why, but my assumption is they don't bother loading the compatibility data into the Ford Accessories website because it's all listed on the Ford Performance Parts website.

Sidenote, I do find it odd there aren't different springs for each trim level.
I’m aware. But to clarify, I was referring to the 3.0 kit’s lack of spring rate options. 2dr vs 4dr as the only options means some wild differences in height front to rear across the trim ranges.
We were talking about this on another thread recently. How is it that the majority of aftermarket replacements make do with a 'one size fits all' spring rate, or at best two (i.e. a regular and "heavy duty spring")? They do it because they can: it's cheap(er) then offering multiple spring rates that are more ideal for your weight/use case, keeps things simpler and focused on the shocks, etc.

Looks like Ford is following their lead. Ford knows how many spring rates they use to build the various Bronco's and how this effects suspension behavior, it's just easier to offer a one-size-fits-all solution even though it is far from ideal for the majority who end up purchasing it.

Interesting what you say about rebound behavior. Bilstein's across their lineup use a digressive valving which is a philosophy of how shocks should behave and lead to a "firm" and "controlled" ride in the middle 'ride zone'. Not your cup of tea obviously.

The rebound behavior you describe is again a Bilstein trait I think that, unless yours were broken, was an intentional design decision - get the tires back on the surface as soon as possible. I think your preferences fall far on the "soft" and "slow" damping curve, again unless yours were broken.

They are calling it a Wildtrak kit.
So it seems to me that if you're buying it for a non Wildtrak, that's on you to figure it out.

Ha good point, I was going with the thread name "Hoss 3.0 Suspension..." but your right Ford is more specific - they can say "this is for Wildtrack only"...

I’m with the wagon with Bilstein haters. I’ve tried them in 3 different trucks, this Bronco is 4th and all I can say is they suck on northern Illinois washboard roads enough to make the ride very uncomfortable. I read 8100s are better but won’t get another dime from me!
So far my 2 favorites are fox and Elka
