First I need to swap the Gen1 Coyote for a Gen4 in my Mustang... hah

The Gen 1 feels every bit as fast, though. I had a 2014 GT and now drive a 2020GT. Sold the 14 to a friend. The 14 felt a lot stronger on the low end than the 2020. The 2020 really kicks it in the rear up top but the 14 seems to be more fun on the street.

Good to know. I prefer the low end rather than all out power. I love the 13/14 s197 body style, peak (modern) style IMO. If I ever really get the bug for more power, I'll just install a supercharger for a fraction of the cost and way more benefit.

Exactly.

The only real advantage of the 2020 on the street is the independent rear suspension. On my 14 I had Ford Racing springs, struts and a big adjustable rear sway bar. Rode pretty harsh but handled well. The 2020 is bone stock. They pull almost identical Gs in the corners per the g-force meter in the gauge cluster.

Meh, I am happy with my 2.7. With the Ford tune it's plenty. Now with the ECU open, it can do even more. The 2.7 is a very stout block. It can take a lot more than what is being thrown at it currently.

If I want to hear a V8 and I can my Shelby or my 68 with the 351w. Plenty of V8 sound to go around.

Well at least I know that if my 2.3 every craps the bed out of warranty I can have an option for a better sounding engine.

If you don’t understand the concept that is okay. The fact the Bronco’s looks demands a V8 is all that really matters. Economy, be damned.

the fact that the 5.0 swap is maintaining all normal goat mode and other powertrain functions, i assume they are re-using the transmission, so the AMW prices wouldn't be quite apples to apples since they include a transmission......but who knows.
