It's not a "mental crutch", it's being a servant to Uncle Sam for far too long. As any retired service member will attest, we cannot utter too many sentences without including "fuck", "motherfucker", and many more colorful expressions. Sometimes we resort to abbreviations. Like: who made you the MFIC on this board?
I swear all the time and am a white collar professional with many college degrees. Some people just want to fucking hate man.

You can get cloth seats in a Heritage. Plaid, too, like some Broncos of old…

Unfortunately it’s very limited availability for what I feel is a basic feature. I’m Lilly going to pickup some fabric seat takeoffs and replace my mgv with it.

That’s what would make sense, but they can also make more money by tarting it up.

Pickup trucks are even worse.

They used to have a single vinyl bench and smell of cigarettes.

Now they are family haulers.
Family haulers with 3x the towing capacity, power, better fuel economy, and they dont reek of cigarettes.

Yeah, cause I'm really getting bored with not seeing "NOT FOR 202x BRONCO" on that part I really want. (and, of course, I always seem to have the 202x....)

I was shocked to see a pretty new regular-cab, long-bed Chevy full-size today. Pickups with regular cabs *and* 8-foot beds? IIRC that used to be pretty standard when I was a kid. Now it feels like they're almost as rare as hen's teeth.

Speaking of which, as has been mentioned here many times over the years (and with or without a refresh) they need to offer a Bronco pickup. Not for me, but for the enthusiasts who are salivating at the idea. I see an awful lot of Gladiators out there and Ford should be competing with them.

I think the Bronco is near perfect in exterior looks and I hope we see very little change for years to come.
The Interior could use a refresh every few years to incorporate newer tech/comfort.
I’d like to see cloth seats and more interior colors which I think would be cheap and easy.

The ‘25 has several interior changes that I think are all for the better however I don’t consider them cosmetic outside the digital gauge cluster.

Do you want to see exterior styling change, if so what?

What interior changes would you like to see?
Only a few refreshes I want to see.

More displacement on the engines and a V8 lead the pack….

Then a stronger axle front and rear for the Badlands along with an improved steering rack across the board.

MGV in a lighter shade would be welcomed.

Maybe frame mounted rock rails for Badlands.

I feel everything else is trivial.

We shall dub it the "retrofresh"... going back in time before vehicles became computers with engines.

I'd love to see it, but honestly with the amount of people that have bought the Lux package.... pretty sure tech is a huge selling point these days.

---

Anyway, there is a few things I wouldn't mind seeing, but if they do a refresh I'm hoping for only minor changes.

Probably unpopular opinion, but vehicles like the Bronco are successful in-part thanks to the aftermarket community. If you keep changing things it hampers development of aftermarket parts and increases the chance that those with existing Broncos get left out of the newer part releases.
Ferrari is reportedly doing this; @Ford should get a jump on them and win against Enzo again.

And somehow in other countries, people tow RVs without needing pickups.
Yeah, that'd be a great arguement if we were in another country. I don't think I'm hauling multiple loads of pound cattle to town with a 2.3 more door Bronco... That 3k towing limit gets ate up quick when I'm trying to move equipment too. (Carpet is still clean in my pickup after nearly 20 years of service too.)

What arguement do you care to make? Vehicles use to cost $1800 new? You know what else was cheap when the dinosaurs were still rotting? Everything else...

If it wasn't for the broad options of the Bronco, I wouldn't own one. I initially didn't even want a Badlands. An OBX was what I was gunning for. A great deal came up on a 1 year old CARPETED/LEATHER Badlands and I made the concession.

Go enjoy your MGV, and I'll enjoy my carpet.

Oatmeal is fine, but it can be made better by adding things that compliment it and you enjoy. Maybe you should add to your oatmeal...

I'm hoping for a fourth redundant hood latches/sensor, just incase the primary and secondary latches fail, while knowing that the sensor is always giving off false warnings. Or perhaps adding a set of hood pins, with hood pin sensors, of course.

Ooo that's interesting, because mine does have a 0 setting.

Seriously? Mine only goes down to -1-. So the fan is always on low unless it's turned off.
I had always thought it was just another weird Ford HVAC thing.
Never had a vehicle that didn't go to -0-
Damn. I need to try to find a fix...it aways bugged me.

The power button is the 0
It would be redundant and unnecessary to have both

I’d like to see the center console lid be indexed, so it doesn’t want to immediately fall to the close position when you’re digging around for something. My biggest gripe!
Factory standard gun safe :p
