Well, Ford didn’t build the transmission and maybe you need shifting lessons. I know that sounds harsh, but that many synchronizer going bad with one user screams that you’re grinding gears when you shift. Or there’s another issue like the clutch is not fully releasing, which is possible.
Man I hate this type of response. Driving a manual is pretty simple and only takes a bit of practice as my 19 year old caught on in one day and doesn't have issues grinding his civic. To assume that an adult that ordered a manual transmission vehicle and can't drive a manual is pretty ignorant. You have to be a pretty terrible driver or totally untrained to be grinding gears with a functional manual transmission.

This is literally nothing new. Recalls are always announced in advanced before parts are available, the same as any other brand lol
I think I had to wait almost 4 years before airbags were available on the Mustang for the great Takata airbag recall.

So far, I don't have a single recall on the F-150 or Bronco I actually give a damn about.

Now if they would recall and fix the damn turn signal stalk that would be something worth going to the dealership.

If your clutch disengages properly, and that was my question at the end.

I’ve been driving manuals for 20 years and have owned 6 manual transmission cars. I’ve never had this issue before so it’s quite the stretch to imply it’s bad shifting
Ok just seemed odd about the synchronizers. Is the clutch releasing like it should?

Yes the clutch releases properly. This is a known design issue with the manual transmission and there’s even a technical service bulletin about it

Roundabouts were amazing in that thing. Torque vectoring AWD can be even better than a RWD biased system from a fun perspective.
Back in 2006 I purchased Acura's first Torque-vectoring SH-AWD vehicle, An Acura RL. That car was a blast on off and on-ramps. Put your foot into it and the car would just hunker down through the curve.

My manual transmission is taking a shit again at 52K miles. This will be the 3rd time i need it repaired in 8 months. Seriously fed up with ford’s crap build quality
Sorry about my salty response earlier. What other build quality problems have you had besides the Chinese transmission?
And yes, I agree. It’s Ford’s fault for using them. Bean counters suck.

I just got a response from Ford yesterday that parts and a fix are now available for the valve issue. Now to roll the dice on which dealer I’m taking too. 🫣

Try having a 2022 Bronco and 2025 Maverick. I get letters from Ford every week.

The scan tune does all the work, so it doesn’t really matter which dealer does it unless the engine actually blows up. Which is unlikely

This is a pretty good thread. I sure hope it doesn't turn political

Do you have a link to how this is supposed to work. I assumed they would borescope the valves?
