high bidder can run down the street to the nearest dealership and pick one up and save some money. not having to pay auction fees.High bid was $70k and the Reserve was not met…
It's just another trim, not limited in any way other than production constraints, not unlike the Everglades (only trim available at the time with a snorkel and square fenders), the HE (only 2-door at the time available with Everglades fenders and the 2.3), Badlands (no other trim offered 4.46 gearing and disco). One can agree/disagree on the fair market value. I don't think a single data point on BaT will determine the FMV.
What people shouldn't try and equivocate what the Stroppe is compared to their own Bronco. There is no 2-dr HOSS 3.0 Sasquatch 2.7L Bronco with front stabilizer bar disconnect built before.
Yep, still a mass produced vehicle that seem to be sitting on lotsIt's just another trim, not limited in any way other than production constraints, not unlike the Everglades (only trim available at the time with a snorkel and square fenders), the HE (only 2-door at the time available with Everglades fenders and the 2.3), Badlands (no other trim offered 4.46 gearing and disco).
We will find out in 25 to 50 years....Kinda makes me think just how special are the "First" Editions![]()
Same here. Local dealer has had one sitting for weeks nowOur local dealer has had one on the lot for a couple of months. I chatted with the salesman I ordered my Bronco from, and he said there have been two shoppers in that time. If anyone wants a Stroppe today, no order required, they're out there.
You in Shreveport by chance? Our local dealer has had one on the lot for a couple of months. I chatted with the salesman I ordered my Bronco from, and he said there have been two shoppers in that time. If anyone wants a Stroppe today, no order required, they're out there.
I'd say it's the pricing, as well as the not-for-everyone livery. It’s the black tailgate, along with no manual option, that was the Stroppe’s downfall.
If it had a manual it would've of been a Stroppe (they were but a handful), with that said I wouldn't call it a downfall, like the Everglades/HEL it's more about marketing than sales of that unit (what can we build cheaply to keep us in the news cycle). It’s the black tailgate, along with no manual option, that was the Stroppe’s downfall.
I was in the not for me livery camp but after rolling with this Bronco for a week in the desert it really is a good looking vehicle.I'd say it's the pricing, as well as the not-for-everyone livery.
What wheels are on that Stroppe?I was in the not for me livery camp but after rolling with this Bronco for a week in the desert it really is a good looking vehicle.![]()
