He didn’t have any significant problems either. Like you said perspective is everything - he purchased an old school body-on-frame 4x4 and expected unibody wagon levels of NVH.…HD Silverados that we work the hell out of are usually free of significant problems until 70-80k…
Unfortunately he went to his dealer and they strung him along doing TSB work because, why not, it’s only billable hours to them even though it doesn’t actually fix the problem. The problem is expectations and purchasing the wrong vehicle in the first place, as a real 4x4 is never gonna have the NVH of a unibody wagon.
I admit to mild perplexity at how many bronco owners go for the manual and then are “surprised“ about mechanical noises/vibrations. You would think the average manual purchaser would be more cognizant of what they’re getting into….maybe they’re all coming from the snicky-snick of Honda civics?
