Natural. All organic. No preservatives. And for your information, I am NOT a "Ponyduck". I am known as The Asshat in these parts. What is a ponyduck? Do you have to take hormones and chop off body parts to achieve this ‘identity’?
Gunter gleiben glauchen globenGerçekten diğer Broncos'lara el sallamayı seviyorsun, değil mi?
So where did the name Def Leppard come from?Gunter gleiben glauchen globen
The "Hi. I just stopped by to say I'm done." threads are magnets for bringing out the worst in this forum as some Ford fans simply take it way too personally when a poster complains about the build quality/reliability which has long been a contentious topic regarding Fords in general. I do sympathize with the OP as the issues with these transmissions are real for some owners. We are discussing Broncos after all which when highly equipped can rival German luxury SUV's in price. Even taking into account that nobody buying a Bronco should expect a luxury interior or the highest of build quality, the reality is some Broncos don't even meet the bare minimum quality/reliability standards whether it be bad roofs, transmissions, engines, shock reservoirs, improperly torqued fasteners, etc. My Bronco was built at the beginning of June and is sitting in the factory because of the latest QC issue of the week. Ford is having a tough time getting out of their own way right now.Although I love and am obsessed with my 2022 2-door Area 51 cloth interior Outerbanks (now a unicorn!), I don't think its fair for folks to pile on to this guy who had a bad experience with his personal Bronco - especally since like a lot of us he waited months or years to get his. The fact is that Ford should fight to retain EVERY customer and work a lot harder at quality control and customer experience. It's not okay to just say well this guy's butt-hurt and too bad for him (or her). Think about it: the more satisfied Bronco owners there are, the better for the long-term survival of the brand. And that's better for everyone on the Forum.
And by the way, it's completely fair to complain about the build and motor quality of the Bronco. The rigs are not cheap. Compared to the fit and finish of most other brands' comparable SUV offerings that are often used in head-to-head comparisons (Landcruiser, Defender, etc.) the Bronco is way behind. Yes, there are all the excuses: it's a convertible, it's a purpose-built off-roader, it's not meant for everyone, and all that, but it's no excuse for poor corporate execution on what should be one of Ford's top aspirational product. It's not enough to just compete with other rattletraps like Jeep because the goal is to get folks out of their pricey G-Wagons or Range Rover Sports (or whatever rig you want to compare it to) and into the MUCH funner and less expensive Broncos.
Eruption Green was introduced mid-23 I believe. You've had a lot of out of service repairs in that time, is the Lemon Law not applicable? My '23 V6 Sasquatch has been literally perfect since day one and has never been molested by a Ford dealer since they day I took delivery. 3 tranny's seems like 2 too many. Does your dealer know what they're doing? Many do not...Three transmissions and a lot of headache; It's time to sell my 2022 Black Diamond with a manual transmission.
I was so excited to buy a Bronco when Ford brought it back. I put my money down and wanted 15 months for delivery. A soft top, manual transmission, Eruption Green..I couldn't be happier.
I took delivery and right away there were problems. The temporary tags were taped to the soft top and warped the plastic. The front fender well and tires had some kind of paint overspray on them. The dealer was gracious and fixed the problems.
I was appreciative and moved on. About 12k in, the transmission sounded like a box of rocks. Six weeks later a new one was put in.
Six months later, same sound. The dealer rebuilds the transmission. That took three weeks.
At 50k, the transmission went again and was replaced. This time they got it fixed in a week.
The whole time, my dealer was accommodating. They seemed embarrassed more than anything.
I asked if the latest transmission might be a new and improved model so I could decide if I wanted to keep going with the Bronco. They simply could not confirm.
I decided to let go.
Ford, I am completely disappointed. Your company has built cars for over 100 years and still puts out substandard products. I thought you would knock it out of the park with the new Bronco. A great namesake in automotive lore, but nope, you dropped the ball.
Im sure many of you are having a great experience, I love seeing the modifications and pride of ownership. Unfortunately, I didn't get that.
Best of luck, I'm moving on from the Bronco and anything Ford.
You still "lurking" around here, turncoat?Although I don’t hang out here as much as I used to, I still enjoy reading the posts and providing help where I can...
… Such as highly encouraging folks to not buy a hard top from ADV…
Lots of great friendships have been found on B6G over the years. You don't need to own a Bronco to participate here. But if you own a Toyota some folks will take a steaming dump on you![]()
Eruption greens were being produced at least as early as January 2022, so the timeline could be longer. OP said his is (was?) a 22.Eruption Green was introduced mid-23 I believe.
