Absolutely. I dare Ford to prove me wrong and put a 3.0L EcoBoost in a Bronco(obviously, the two-door IAW this thread). They won't do it. They'll sell off the Ford name to China before they put the 3.0L EcoBoost in a Ford Bronco that's not some limousine version of a Bronco. Is that your final answer?![]()
If anyone knows this guy,I want to talk to them.......Nice OP! I would have went with this but I still need the 4-Door for the dogs and hunting equipment. But the Stroppe Special Edition is is jut that, special and I'm sure you wont see too many floating around.
I'm glad that I went with the "Race Red" HE though. I have only seen one other in the wild.
Just grab a VIN off the ford website and go buy some..I think it looks a lot better in person than in Ford's promo photos. Really striking design. I'm still holding out hope I can get a pair of those steps.
That would have been the original Stroppe.Thank you! Colors are Wimbledon White, Calypso Coral, and Astra Blue.
Or French...Great looking truck. Will look great in many countries.Nothing says America like a red, white, and blue Bronco... Enjoy!![]()

Thank you !! I may put some lights on it, but I don't think I will do too much else. We shall seeGreat looking Bronco OP!!! Do you plan on doing any modifications?
Hey you‘re in St George and I’m in Cedar — let’s have a coffee or adult beverage some time. I’d love to see the Stroppe in person!Thank you !! I may put some lights on it, but I don't think I will do too much else. We shall see![]()
If it were me, I'd wrap the tailgate to match the sides, like @EvilJim1971Thank you !! I may put some lights on it, but I don't think I will do too much else. We shall see![]()
A wrap will get you in the general area of Stroppe appearance.
Like was mentioned, I started with a red heritage... So mine was blue at the top of the roof, white on the sides, satin black on the hood, and some badging.
And the spare tire cover.

That sounds goodHey you‘re in St George and I’m in Cedar — let’s have a coffee or adult beverage some time. I’d love to see the Stroppe in person!
I prefer my Stroppe Edition just as it left the factory - thnx.If it were me, I'd wrap the tailgate to match the sides, like @EvilJim1971
Still don't understand why Ford went cheap and used the matte black on the tailgate, it's not like they were trying to keep the cost low on this one...
Stroppe is a German/Dutch last name. Looks more like a Dutch flag colors, blue, white and red in equal bars, just upside-down. Stroppe was American, but colors might have been inspired by his ancestral heritage.Nothing says America like a red, white, and blue Bronco... Enjoy!![]()
