These are sales to dealerships not consumers. I am seeing about 42K 2/4 door Broncos for sale in the US (Caredge.com). Roughly 30% of the built Broncos are still for sale and it is December. They would have to have an epic Q1 to reduce that inventory.
Got to the Taco forums to find out more about portals. They have been on Toyota's for quite a few years. It is a expensive upgrade that is proven to work well on IFS trucks. You don't have to use 40-44s tires, it really makes the 35s shine. Somewhere, maybe the overland show in Bend I was...
Good write, I look forward to the tire carrier review. You are correct on the soft shackle. That means the company are not in the know about current 4wd applications. Jeepers have embraced the soft shackle and I know Broncs have also. More than a missed opportunity, should be a requirement.
On the bright side, Ford does not seem to be fighting these. It is ridicules the amount of recalls, 69 so far. Is it the quality of parts or quality of builds, prolly a little of both. Long gone is the simple V8 with power brakes, steering and windows.
The kid's first car purchased was a 2 door base wrangler. If you sense bias, you are not wrong. Overall I think the Bronco is a better value purchase. I have yet to purchase one. Still weighing my options with input from the Wife and her Father
Man, those production numbers are really bad. if they keep those numbers, it could be 30k Broncos for the year. Looks like we could be going into a slowdown in manufacturing.
I wonder what the financial loss of the Q4 will be. They were heavily discounting F-150s and Broncos. Almost to the point of me buying one. That does not include the low APR from Ford Finance.
That salt is so horrible. It stuck to my bike, every nook and cranny. Driving on the salt is like a whole winter driving in Boston in one hour. Hopefully you stopped in Wendover to have a Bronco bath.
