Love your analogy! I guess I must be the exception to the rule. I actually love the Stroppe edition with the "in your face" colors and upgrades even though I am a Northeast mud and snow person who had never heard of Stroppe before. I also love my HEL. I was able to purchase it off the lot after a few mark downs. Timing is everything I guess- If the Stroppe was available and under MSRP it would have gone home with me last October. I am sure there will be buyers for this edition even at the insane prices that are being asked (add dealer markups). Dealers in our area have new 2024 BRaptors for sale at almost 20K off sticker which makes it comparable to the out the door cost of the new 25 Stroppe. 2 completely different vehicles but which one is a "Better" choice? Goes back to your original post. It all is what we as individuals value most.. That is definitely is subject to our past experiences.I might be wrong but the Stroppe Edition seems to be a bit pigeon holed into a regional/generational niche. As a Gen X with a strong nostalgia bias from the desert southwest I really like it. There were enough of the original Stroppe Broncos running around at the HDRA/SCORE races when I was a kid for this to flip a few of my switches. Not enough switches to buy one, but enough to like it.
