I will be the first to admit it. My 24 WT is a mall crawler. Its just too damn pretty to get dirty. I wash it once a week whether it needs it or not...LOL. The underside literally looks like it came off the line yesterday. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm very hesitant to take it off roading.

Breaking that seal and getting the entire underside filthy plus the rest of the truck - makes me a bit uncomfortable. Especially considering how much this damn thing was lol. Lets hear from some more mall crawlers, let us know why you don't/wont offroad yours.

Yup. Not ashamed to admit it. I'm retired and I worked for many years to have nice things to enjoy. She gets washed several times each week and the inside gets cleaned probably twice each month. I find myself admiring her and hopefully other people do too. You treat yours your way and I'll treat mine my way. I won't judge you. Never been off road and never had the tops off.

It looks like a twin to my OBX SAS except mine has white mirrors (I'd like them black). I also covered door handles with black overlays. Mine has all the SAS gears/axles/lockers, but Camburg suspension. I treat it the way you treat yours. I doubt it will ever go on the trails. Many moons ago I promised to myself never to go camping again. I "camped" in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Kosovo. Mud was at times unbearable. I also learned to hate sand.

I cringed last week when I had to go into an unpaved parking lot at a nursery to get some mulch. I'm with you 100%.

In comparison to some of you guys, mine is one step higher than a "mall crawler". It's a "museum piece"! Holy Crap do you guys put your cars through the paces! Not saying that's bad. It's what they're built for, but I'm still in the honeymoon period. Other than a slippery grass field or sandy beach, mine is a concrete jungle warrior. I did order it though with some "future proofing" via the 4.27 rear locker and V6 in case someday I ever wanted to sell it to someone who needed the rear locker and added torque. But until then, it's a "one arm out the window" putzing around towner. Sleeps in the garage with her top off (man's dream).

First weekend of ownership, MY2024, almost a year ago... many scratches (no dents) added since then. And now realizing I used this same image as my profile pic :). Technically this rig has been mall-crawled too and so far, no door dings. What a relief :whew:.

Well that would be be me. Lol
I guess you had to have been there. Hole didn't look too bad, but kind of fell away. That whole park is kind of like that sometimes. I eased in, but got hung up on a root or something. It was fine, pulled myself back no problem.

Hey, at least you can laugh at yourself. It is kinda funny how deep it is, and how you couldn’t tell. Don’t think I’d be brave enough to do that not knowing where the bottom is.

Lol Yeah. It's all fun.
Honestly my rear winch probably gets me into more trouble than it keeps me out of....lol

Then again I just like to party. 😂

In starting this thread, I had assumed there would be far more mall crawler/pavement princes/princesses than what has showed...

And honestly thats good there isnt. That means Ford didnt waste the years of development they put into the Bronco attempting to make it the most capable offroad vehicle on the planet.

Kudos to the lot of you getting them dirty every day/week/month. I'm leaning towards getting out there sooner than later and breaking that seal.

In my defense, I did wheel my 23 Badlands back when I had it. Not a ton, but I did it. For some reason my new WT just seems a bit more refined in terms of what it wants. And its telling me it wants sweet 93 octane and lots of wax.
