Ford Performance Method 703 Wheels Weight = 28.4 lbs

Thanks. I was holding out for the FP "faux locking hub" caps. Gives it a little old-school nod. The early batch from FP still had the Method center cap.

I knew the Sasquatch wheel was heavy. I thought they were 36lbs. 39lbs is worse, yet.

I love the X3's. The red letters are quite distinctive. They are a heavy tire, though. Still worth it.

While I'm not a big fan of the plethora of faux bead lock wheels I'm *really* digging the faux locks! If I hadn't seen those here first and spotted them in a parking lot or something I'd be doing a "now just what's going on here?" head scratching moment!

Those are nice. My Black Rhino's Rapids are 22.5 lbs. I'm Happy for that because the Cooper Discoverer SST PRO 37s are no joke!

I never paid attention to wheel weight until I had my black rhino barstows on my wrangler, I think they were over 40 lbs a piece. My next wrangler got some really light pro comp wheels. Thanks for posting the detailed information.

Yes. But the lighter wheel gives justification to offset the weight savings with a heavier MT .

I measured my old Sasquatch’s at a hair over 39lbs. They’re heavy AF.

A savings of 7 or 11 pounds is still significant unsprung weight.

I wonder if there is a way to calculate the effects of perimeter weight (easily - as in online calculator ) in relation to rotational mass/momentum? Let's say you decrease your wheel weight by 10 pounds (most of that weight perimeter), but then get a tire that is 10 pounds heavier than OEM (again, most of the weight is perimeter), it is not like it is a wash in terms of rotational mass and how it effects braking and acceleration even if it is largely a wash (I think) in terms of suspension movement/momentum.

they are +35, just like OEM, and Hubcentric.

Do you know if the 0 offset and the +12 offset ones are hubcentric as well?

No. The wheels from Method that you mention are not hub centric.

Oh wow…. Bronze or Titanium on my Azure Wildtrak??? Once warranty expires my MIC top will be swapped for something better. And likely tan or brownish.
