Signature lights were not an option for me on my BD. Unless it was part of a package that required an AT, which was a dealbreaker for many upgrades.

I splurged on the Forms, running amber DRLs. The amber will be an additional safety factor in the rainy winters here.

It's funny to hear all these complaints about the Bronco headlights. Compared to the halogens on my '17 F150, they are amazing! The big drawback on them, in my opinion, is that there is no peripheral illumination at all. Adding ditch lights to my A pillars made all the difference in the world.

I suppose anything could be brighter, but keeping them street legal would be the trick.

Yeah, signature headlights were not an option on Black Diamond, which is stupid, because you could add them to the lower-spec Big Bend…

Thank you zoober! I think I want to see if I can get OEM instead of aftermarket. I am going to see if I can get them directly from Ford.
Why get them directly from Ford? They'll overcharge you to the extreme. Find someone with takeoffs and save a ton of money. That's how I got my LED tail lights. They only cost me $200 for the pair.

I agree. If you are looking to enhance side illumination there are better options. FWIW, I have noted that many people prefer the amber drl's of the standard lamp assemblies. Although it may be possible to modify the white drl's in the signature assemblies to amber using some Forescan magic.

I had OEM Signature lights sold them for $700ish locally when I went to projectors from FORM.

Don't take an incremental step, go straight to the projectors at $800 on sale. HUGE upgrade. The OEM lights are as bad as my old 4Runner.
Link?

You are right!! Ford wants over $1000 for each headlight! Now I am looking for someone who has takeoffs. I want the modular bumper too, so I'll look at marketplace. thanks!!

I have to say, when I had the Jeep Renegade, when you'd turn either direction there were lights that lit up in that direction. It was automatic and nice. These lights definitely don't do much. I can't even tell when my brights are on.

If they are direct plug-and-play, what are all the extra harnesses for?

My guess would be backlighting or some non-factory standard lighting modes. But I don't know for sure.

You can program your fog lights to turn on directionally with steering at low speeds with Forscan. The effectiveness of that would depend on what kind of fog lights you have and how you have them installed though.

I have the basic bumper and fog lights that come on the big bend.

I ran that for a while. The Forscan settings work (assuming you don’t have the fog lights on full time with low beams anyway), but the factory fog lamps installed in the plastic bumper aim pretty straight ahead - so they don’t do much toward illuminating a corner.

When I swapped out to aftermarket fog lamp with a fog lens - that definitely lights up the corners well, but the fog lamp is actually brighter than my low beams, so I just run them full time
