@5GENIDN @raqball, I bought the rack housing and have it installed with my 2.0 internals. I also installed Carli's double sheer kit too. I'll let any of you know if I break anything.

When I go 37's I'll be on the look out for a parted out 3.0 rack and swap over the motor, pinion, and pinion electronics into this one. I don't see any issues with this rack housing.

I will admit... that looks pretty damn robust! I guess my biggest question though is why does it need a lash adjuster?..... I know the manufacturer has his reasons. I would just like to know what they were. I would be curious about the new bushings as well. How are they different than the originals? Just looking at it I would surmise that you would get a lot less housing deflection, which is a big part of the move to a HOSS 3 over the HOSS 2. Just guessing, you will probably get less housing deflection than the HOSS 3. That is a big win.

and by the way... that Carlie double sheer is one of the prettiest things I have ever seen!

Bushing are tight, not broncbuster OG bushing tight but tight, no slop. Driver side is roughly 3/4" to 1" wide and passenger side is roughly 2" wide, rack rod support width. If that makes sense.

Why keep the lash adjuster? Maybe to keep tension as the bushings wear??? IDK. All I know is I doubt I'll ever break it!

And yes, the Carli kit is pretty nice!

Seems like this vasher housing is cheaper than 74 weld stage 1 and the bronco buster steering billet housing. I am also trying to beef up my steering have a 2 plus lift on a non Sas badlands on 35. Looks good wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on this .

I got the passenger side housing from him a few weeks ago. Really nice piece. Price was great also. Michael was awesome to deal with.

just came across this. Curious if there is also a drivers side bushing included when you purchase the passenger side housing? Specifically talking about HOSS 2.0 rack.

Yeah, would love to get some updates on these... They really sound pretty damn good. Could be a hell of an upgrade for a more reasonable price.... (everything is relative)... I do have questions about them but I question everything. I guess that is why I am very interested in updates as to their real world experience.... More than anything I want to know, should I start recommending these to people?

HE does not have a Bushing, but does have an exterior brace fro the drivers side. If you go to the Vasher designs website you can see what he has. The whole rack is a nice piece as well. He has some youtube videos on the rack as well.

I had already done the Bronc buster bushing a few years ago. I had been back and forth with all the treads on 3.0 racks, the billet housing, ect. I found a pic of his end housing on Instagram posts and investigated a little. I was impressed with the quality of the housing/power coat when i got it.

I was impressed with his videos on youtube , and the products he has on his site seem pretty legit. Vasher Designs. He also has a long travel suspension he is beta testing on his Bronco, pretty slick.

He answered me from a trail ride he was on (through messenger) when I had some questions, so I was impressed with his customer service as well.

I wanted to put his housing on in time for trail hero in Sand Hollow in October, I ran Double Sammy and Plan B with the housing and had no issues. The steering seem to bind up less this time than my trip 2 years ago when I did the same trails with just the Bronc Bushing. I have a 2.0 rack

@Rkgzx9leftcoast any idea where he gets his geometry from for the housing? Is he digitizing an oem rack?

@orion I suppose the tolerances all looked very good when you swapped your internals into the housing?

I'm not sure, but a Good watch is his YouTube video on dissecting the rack and its problems and his assembly tips.

We've got a lot of armchair engineers here Mike, personally I don't invest much in the "expertise" on this website, too much BS and attitude.
Keep up the great work!
I've been talking to Mike (true engineer) at the Bronco Super Cel '26. His products are impressive in person... Why would you call him an armchair engineer, when you don't know him? Look at his warranty? Perhaps give his products a serious look before you call him an armchair engineer.

After reading the post, it did not seem he was calling Mike an "armchair engineer"...rather, it seemed like he was implying there are a lot of them on this forum.
