Thank you for that! Very interesting and somewhat overwhelming options for someone new to Broncos!

Can you speculate on what sort of price increases the 25s will have?

The trims for this year include Base, Big Bend (4 door only) , Heritage Edition (4 Door only), Outer Banks (4 door only), Badlands, Stroppe Edition (2 Door only), and Raptor (4 Door only).

So you can get a Base 2 dr?
Yes

Enjoy your info and videos. Besides maybe the digital dash cluster I’m kind of glad I got my 24. I went with pretty much base Big Bend 2 door (without mid package) and up here Canada was 49,000 with employee pricing that was going on August till end of September . I like the washout floors and MGV seats I got ( which looks like isn’t standard this year on Big Bend ).

It isn't but vinyl is optional.

....

So you can get a Base 2 dr?
The Base, 2 door and 4 door, is presently listed as 'Late Availability'.
Tim mentioned in one of his videos that could be March 2025. It very well could be a few months later as well..... it's tough to know exactly what Ford is planning, they rarely announce future plans to the public.

Pricing is expected sometime this week.

is 2.7 engine available for BD package? the ordering guide didn't mention 2.7 in BB's equipment list, but said 2.7 with OBX and BD on a page toward the end of it.

Ford is either eliminating, limiting, or locking options behind more expensive models. I didn't realize the similar changes that occurred for the '24 changes because I wasn't shopping then. I've been hemming and hawing for a few months now, contemplating a new 2 door and selling my 4 door. Ford is convincing me to keep my '22. :curse:

How much sense does this make? Here in 2024 I could get a Big Bend 2dr, 7 spd, aux switches, mid package and rear locking diff. But if I try to order a Black Diamond, 2dr, 7spd, which comes with aux switches and rear locking diff, I can't get the mid package.

No, since Black Diamond is a package on the Big Bend, it would get the same availability as the Big Bend. Only 2.3L engine.

I think '24 ordering is still open until the 23rd if you can find a dealer with the allocation.

Mid Package is optional on the Black Diamond for 2024 model year. But I agree with you that it's crazy that I can not build my Big Bend the way I ordered in 2021 model year. LED Signature Lights, Aux Switches, Fog Lights. I added the Mid Package which now doesn't get the Auto Dim Rearview Mirror. Probably the same price for less equipment.

Why is Ford trim locking the 2.7 v6 now on the bronco and Ranger to higher trims? I would consider 4 door base for slightly more space then my 22 big bend 2 door but I love the v6 and now it’s not an option

Likely because people were opting for the lower-optioned vehicles to get the bigger motor, then adding the few features they wanted from the higher trim packages. That's my guess, anyway - Force people to buy a bunch of stuff they don't want to get a couple things they do want and pad your pockets, or give them those few things ala cart on lower models and not make as much money? A business that is operating to turn a profit for shareholders is ALWAYS going to try to make as much money as possible.

I'm having the same issues with SD's...I don't want to step above an XLT, but there are a few options I DO want that are paywalled behind the Lariat trim...that comes with a bunch of things I don't want. Interestingly, those SAME options are available on the XLT trimmed Expedition my wife drives...So the lack of continuity just doesn't make sense to me.

Edit: Just scrolled through the 2025 guide for Bronco, and I hope someone gets slapped - cannot get a 2-door 2.7 unless you go to the 'Stroppe' edition. Looking at it, it is basically what I have in our BD SAS...How does that even make sense?
