I have a 2024 grand cherokee L limited (wife's ride) and you aint kidding. Jeep rides real nice but I wouldn't say the bronco is a scrub in comparison. I have no issues with the ride, I think it's pretty dang good for what it is. I test drove the rubicon gladiator the day before the bronco and that was a dog in comparison. To the OP - I now slam on the brakes accidentally in the Jeep as the bite point is way higher. Just don't be alarmed the first time in the bronco, the brakes do eventually work
