This is from a simple weekend basic supply's camping outing. I am pretty good on not taking bulky stuff except the 8' canopy no way I could do a 2Dr. I have a hitch basket that I didn't use but I know it would be if I take longer trips.

You have both a refrigerator and an RTIC? Isn't that a little overkill?

When we go camping, it is all Mountain House meals. I don't do coffee, only tea, so all I need is a burner to boil water for food and tea. And tinfoil, lemon and butter to wrap up any fish we catch.

You have the rear seats folded down, so I am guessing that your trip is just for 2 people?

Yeah that was a one off issue. We can't have alcohol in the park in the vehicle so the beer stays in the RTIC in the tent at the campground. I have a small one burner propane unit in one of the containers.

Clickbait title, not even close, you have about 50% space available. Your packing skills are lacking.
That’s also way to much stuff for a weekend with 2 people.
Good on you for getting out of the house and enjoying the outdoors.

I didn't say I was completely out of space. I could ruff it and leave half at home but I choose to enjoy it a bit.

I was just trying to be average and not being extreme one way or another. I could roof rack it and add another 1000 lbs of crap lol

2 Door headed out for a 2 week camping trip...but first we had to take all the christmas presents to mom's first...

Had every car on the highway flashing their brights at me because my nose had to have been 15 degrees up into the air from all the weight in the back.

Ugh - never again.

By the thread title, the implication is that you are crammed to the brim. 😁🤪😘🤣

Sometimes when you have been collecting camp gear for 40 years it is hard to decide what to leave out.

You really don't want to be sitting around the campfire sipping cocoa and thinking that you should have brought the green tin cup instead of the blue one. 🤣🤣

Or god forbid someone else in the group brought marshmallows and you didn't pack your extendable marshmallow fork. 🥰🥰🤪🤪

Could someone please help me understand the correct terms-

This is just car camping, I believe. Overlanding is only to be tagged when you put a tent on the roof right?

I wouldn't stay without beer

for better more precise description I changed the title, BTW the beer cooler, is not optional, I have my limitations
