It makes me wonder if the sensor is reading out of range, there is either too much air being pulled through the ccv sensor or too little air (or does the sensor measure air pressure though the line). If it's too much (which would make sense with the bigger air tube going to the turbo) then some sort of restrictor could be the solution. If it's too little an amount of air pulling through, that would be a tougher scenario.
I would think it's too much because that's what we were going for is to create better airflow. The issue is only with model year 23 and 2.7 engine. My dealership replaced my pressure sensor which was part of the protocol to fix the issue but obviously they replaced it with one that didn't do the trick. Ford needs to come up with another solution, like getting rid of the damn thing or going to the sensor if there was one in the 22 and 21 model year. If not, and Injen can't figure out a solution and I think K&N also having the same issue, people like us are screwed or have to go through the process of uninstalling the whole freaking thing and going back to stock. 🤯

Updating here too in case people aren’t in the other thread. This was from earlier this week.

We did get an update from the owner with the test vehicle. As of right now he mentioned that he has driven about 1000 miles with the intake, and he has not gotten a check engine light. We just need him to complete the 2500 miles to officially confirm the fix. Hopefully before or by the end of this month he will complete the test without getting the check engine light. As mentioned before this isn't his daily driver so it is taking a bit longer than usual, but unfortunately it was the only local Bronco available for testing. As of right now so far so good, let me know if you have any other questions or concerns !

They put mine in the mail from California, should be here hopefully tomorrow 🤞 not sure if engine light will go away without having the dealership reset it.🫤🤔

Is this just a Injen intake thing? Would AFE be a better option?

My understanding from all the reading so far: It’s because the injen design goes to the turbos where a sensor is, and the sensor changes from MY22 to MY23. If you choose an option that doesn’t go up to the turbos, the section with the sensor is left alone. So the benefit of the injen design is also the culprit for the new sensor fault.

FYI they have the updated piece, and shipped mine out. Make sure you contact customer service and show them proof purchase and they will send out the part.

contacted them today to confirm I can order for MY23+ and have placed an order. So while the website is not updated, the EVO9301 should come with the updated piece, making us good to go.

Well, I installed the Injen CAI and hot & cold charge pipes back in May, and ever since then, My A/C has been intermittently blowing straight hot air.

Took it to the dealer, and they said that because of the CAI, when the intake is under load (turbos spooling) the intake gives an incorrect temp reading meaning the car thinks it's overheating and is blowing hot air through the A/C to "cool the overheating engine down." They said it was because the car was tuned for the stock intake, and I should either switch it back to stock or take it to get tuned with the larger intake which would void the powertrain warranty.

Has anyone else experienced issues with their A/C as a result of adding a CAI? I've never heard of something like that before.

@Big Bad Green Machine : I have never heard of what you are saying and I have the full system as well. The only time my Air has blown warm is when I first turn the RIG on, and I come out the driveway. About 20~30 secs and it's cold. real cold. I'm down in S. FL.

It did the same before I did the intake and charge pipes btw. I will say, I do have the Ford Procal tune, but what you are talking about I have never heard of this before.
