I put one on about a month ago. Get the 'inproper connection./installation of the engine crankcase hoses and sealing items' error. Reset it and it comes back in a few days. Guess I should have done more research and not trusted the retailer's site that listed 2021-2023...

Would have taken back off by now, but it's such a pain to install, I haven't had time.

No, new errors - to answer your question.

Do you plan on getting the software update ? Supposedly it gets rid of the error code. I gotta figure if I can get the update without having a check engine light on. I know if I roll into the dealership with a code and aftermarket air intake, they will give me a hard time. Airintake has been sitting in my base for months .

Wasn't aware of the software update, but if it has be flashed by a dealer, I'll definitely have them do that next time it's in. It's not a daily driver so under 2000 miles since delivery in late July. Will be a while before I go back for the first free oil change, but I'll have them do it then and hope it works...My dealer is pretty cool about aftermarket parts and mod quite a few of their vehicle before initial sales.

Well after tightening all the connections I still have the CEL and the code read's P04DB, talked to the Ford dealer about the TBS and was told that code I have docent pertain to the TBS mentioned above software update. Talked to Tech support at Injen and this was there response. My Bronco is a 2023 2.7

Hello David,

I am sorry for the issues you are experiencing with our Injen Technology
product.

Our EVO9301 kit is not a direct fit for the 23' year models at the
moment. When we first released this kit, we had it listed as a direct
fit. We took this off of the direct fitment a few short days later, as a
CEL for the CCV line was thrown. The P04DB code is related directly to
the CCV line and we are still working on a fix. Ford has released a few
TSB's to try and fix their side of the issue, which included replacing
the CCV line, running a flash and a few other things. Some customers
were able to get their CEL to go away with Ford's TSB's, but some to no
avail. We currently have a 23 2.7L Bronco at our R&D location and they
are doing further testing. Once we come up with a fix for the 23'
Bronco, we will send out a notification through our newsletter.

If you do plan to run this intake system, you will see no performance
issues. The P04DB code is an emissions CEL.

sucks! Hopefully they get fix, or I’ll be forced to sell my air intake. It’s still sitting in the basement. Every vendor out there is still showing 2023 models too. Hopefully the fix is quick and they don’t give a hard time to people who bought there kit, to get that fixed

I've had the software update and they also changed out the pressure sensor and the code keeps coming back on, sometimes after a couple thousand miles. I just had it reset again a couple weeks ago and they changed the oil, saying there was too much oil in the system and maybe that caused it, but obviously that wasn't the case because just came back from two week vacation, started it up and the code is back. Wondering if Injen has figured something out, because Ford fixes have not done it. 🤯

I got a. Email from them stating they have a 2023 bronco in house and are currently testing on . They mentioned once an update /design change is made they will ship out that part to people who bought their intake. Just make sure you send and email to their customer service, so they have you on record with that issue.

It makes me wonder if the sensor is reading out of range, there is either too much air being pulled through the ccv sensor or too little air (or does the sensor measure air pressure though the line). If it's too much (which would make sense with the bigger air tube going to the turbo) then some sort of restrictor could be the solution. If it's too little an amount of air pulling through, that would be a tougher scenario.
