If it were me, I’d buy now if you find your build. I look at what was lost in MY23 to MY24 and would be nervous they will screw with the Sas package or jack up prices on addons like they did with paint costs.

I could see front lockers going away with Sasquatch for certain trims, MT getting scarcer. Ford dumped the Base, jacked up prices across the board and rem

What they need is to bring back the base model and have more affordable options.
That would be nice. I feel like the reason Ford dropped the base, was effectively to raise entry prices by quite a bit while people were still throwing money at vehicles, while still allowing a price moderation by bringing base back at some future date. And Ford can spin it as bringing base back, rather than simply reducing prices on existing versions. Will see ...

I mentioned this in another post but my local Ford dealer just down the road has 26… yes 26 Broncos in stock with another 6 in transit. Most are mid to upper $50Ks and many in the $60Ks… Even 1 or 2 just above $70K (loaded Badlands or Wildtrak 4dr… can’t remember). It’s out of control. And that’s not even counting 2 BRaptors they have - one of which is $98K MSRP. They also have at least 4 F150 Raptors sitting right out front.

Guess what the incoming 6 Broncos are? Low option Big Bends… lol. Dealers are always slow on the uptake. I have no pity. I hate dealers especially this one as they’ve screwed me a couple times.

The only thing I’m seeing Ford selling is the base XL Mavericks. Even the high $30K, low $40K ones (XLT, Lariats) are sitting. The low and sub $30K ones - sold before they even show up.

I have wanted a Bronco since they came out and I am finally in the position to buy one. Looking at 4dr Wildtrak.

My question to the Bronco nation, will there be significant updates/changes/refresh for the 2025 MY? I have asked the dealership and they said no, but obviously they are bias bc they want me to buy now. Also the 4th of July discounts are very enticing at my local dealer.

Thoughts?? Do I go ahead with 2024 purchase or wait for 2025 because there will be significant changes
Will there be some updates? Yes. Will they be significant? No. Why can I say that? Because 2025 would be a mid-cycle update, which in auto manufacturer speak means a few minor changes, usually mostly cosmetic, to carry the model over to the end of it's life cycle. A typical life cycle is 8 years between major updates, but some models go longer. Where the Bronco is a bit of a niche player in terms of sales, it's not even clear whether the 2025 model year will be the "mid-cycle" year. If it isn't, 2026 surely would be. Keep in mind that the MY changeover for the Bronco is in December, so if you wait, you're looking at 6 months minimum.

Anytime Ford aesthetically refreshes a design, they ruin it. So if you like the way the bronco looks now, I suggest you buy it now.

Look at the way Jeep limits their trims for production efficiency, and expect the same.
Here's the 14 trims offered for the Wrangler for MY24

I was waffling on the upcoming LC and 4R until the prices were released in Canada, the 4R likely projecting in the same range as the LC for a trim I'd want. A refresh would have been nice to wait for, but I'm going to be placing an order because I can get way more for less on a Bronco, no allocation games, and Ford Canada decided to put out interest incentives that make it worthwhile to pull the trigger.

I was really hoping for a plugin hybrid, like the 4xe. That feels doubtful right now. I'm going to be tempted if the Gladiator gets a 4xe version for 2025, but I don't think I'd be tempted enough to switch over.
The 4xe is an unreliable mess.

Judging from the dealer by me, all they want to sell is the 4xe. A few months back I was checking out their inventory, they had to have at least 35 of them on the lot, maybe 2 or 3 that weren't hybrids.

But I see them on the road everywhere, people are buying them.

Jeep traditionally does huge incentives on them.

Helps them with CAFE and other eco initiatives.

Also, saw you mention gas in another post. Dude, just let that topic go. A Bronco isn’t for the eco crowd; they’ve got their own junk; a ton of it actually, so this truck ain‘t that. The mpg is only a waste if you only use it to make mall runs and commute in traffic; again, a ton of better options for those tasks. A Bronco is for dirt, mud, and rocks.

It’s not about miles per gallon, but smiles per gallon with a Bronco in it’s element.
Amen brother Ray. I wholeheartedly agree. Anyone buying a vehicle and fuel economy is a deciding factor, should not buy a Bronco.
