  1. In LOVE with the Bronco! Want to leave car...

Fuel consumption - I get 22 mpg average with my '22 2.3L base with a mix of city/hwy driving. 24 mpg tops for highway. I'll be putting on bigger tires soon and it will likely drop some. The seating style is close to bench seating-- i.e. feet on the ground and not forward. I had a hard time...
  2. About to purchase…. Opinions

Agreed, if it were me, the only way I would pay $64k would be if I were going to keep it forever. In a brief search I found $20k in savings buying a year old and 14k mi... that pays for a lot of upgrades...
  3. Grilles, Grilles, Grilles - BRONCO, FORD, or other?

Some people want to make others think they own a Raptor version. They do pop in the rear-view mirror. I generally like the way they look, but like any fad it can be overdone. I would consider some marker lights but more for blizzards and staying visible.
  4. Grilles, Grilles, Grilles - BRONCO, FORD, or other?

The 3 lights in the pick up grille started with the Raptor and are an ICC regulation for vehicles over 80 inches. Hence Braptor/ Raptors that are over 80" wide. (not including mirrors)
  5. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

That's like posting a 'Beware of Dog' sign on your porch. People want to know what the big deal is until they don't.
  6. Top 4 Mickey Thompson Baja Tires

Thanks for posting, they look great on those BD takeoffs. I've been hunting around for my next pair of tires and it's going to be < 33" for me due to the Bronco being my commuter. Would you say the noise from the Baja Boss ATs is the same or worse than the OEM P255/70R18 Bridgestone Dueler...
  7. MPG-what am I doing wrong?

Basically in order of contribution to mpg: 1. Driver style (heavy foot or light) (biggest impact) 2. City or highway (stop/ go, do you allow the engine to shut off?) 3. Tire diameter (up to 33") (>33">35") (>35") (rolling resistance, unsprung weight) 4. Accessories -- light bars etc...
  8. 2024 Ford Bronco Review: Yes, it's awesome, but ... Autoblog

When I'm running the hard top it's not so bad, and highways are fine. My aftermarket soft top is a no go on the highway over 55 mph. I'm sure the factory soft top is better, but There are some decent threads on here about improving top fitment. That plus taking some marine grade...
  9. Why don’t people like the OEM tires/wheels?

People usually upgrade for looks or for capability, especially when they want to run harder trails or have met their limit. They grow into their off road experience, or already having that experience, choose to upgrade their vehicle to be more capable. Everyone has different use and...
  10. To Wave or not to Wave?

Neons have Base bronco headlights... just sayin.
  11. No Ragrets- which mod do you wish you hadn’t?

I was researching this option when looking at bike racks and quickly discarded the idea of a tire mounted rack. I read on here the maximum stock tailgate weight limit without reinforcing is 133 lbs. So add your door, tire, and wheel together and subtract from 133 lbs and how much do you want...
  12. No Ragrets- which mod do you wish you hadn’t?

Nah, that grille is neat, haven't seen one like that. There is this mexican restaurant in San Diego called Lucha Libre with a wrestling theme and I thought of this when I saw the grille. (not me, lol) I love the 'glades/ heritage wheels, and this truck is just enough white for me, a white...
  13. Best audio upgrades for better quality phone calls?

Knowledge from past bronco legends as found on this forum. lol https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/attention-mic-hard-top-owners-wind-noise-reduction-hack.46473/page-7...
  14. HOLY WOW! $91,570 for a Bronco Heritage Limited

I'm fine with Ford selling all of these like hotcakes as long as they have a base model that I can buy, oh, wait.
  15. Can someone explain our HVAC system?

This is the base unit. Sometimes simple is better. While there are things going on in the background sometimes with the outside air damper, the temperature adjustment is predictable.
  16. Rampage TrailView Fastback Soft Top for 2 door Bronco -- installed first impressions & photos

Being careful as it was the first time with winterizing, this process took me about 2 hours. I undid the sides and rear window panels first. Then I undid the bolts and then had my son help lift the whole top off and placed on a tarp. Then I removed the remaining hardware, some of which was...
  17. Meet Sassy! It was love at first sight - and she was mine 24 hours later!

Congrats! Same location I bought mine it appears, they are a good dealer. IMO much better than the other local dealers. Enjoy!
  18. pressure wash having a stroke - solved

If you don’t have the minimally acceptable water pressure or if you are restricting the pressure through valves or hoses, it will not work. Street pressure should be minimum 55psi and max 80psi. Run the hose out without kinks and fully open the hosebibb.
  19. Gladiator gets $20k off of MSRP

The only real reason to buy a 4xe is that the 4xe has better acceleration with the electric motor. The instant torque on makes the vehicle move. 0-60 in 5.5s for a 4dr wrangler. The promotional materials say it helps the jeep achieve 49 mpg equivalent, but you have to be careful about when...
  20. The Best Truck Tires, According to Experts (September 2023 review by C&D / RealTruck)

For my base my intention is to upgrade to 285/75/R16 32.7 AT LT 126R E (33") Sumitomo Encounter AT tires. I have relied on Tire rack reviews and scoring in the past and the information they provide is objective as I've found. I use my Bronco as my daily and weekender -- I've been putting on...
