2022 Outer Banks has been in my possession for almost 2 years now. After most recent wash, noticed a small blister in the paint on the hood. Just got back from dealership down the street with not the best news....Service Advisor stated she's rarely seen Ford cover this under warranty. Really?

A few quick google searches and clearly an issue with the insanely more expensive Ford GT.

First thing I purchased for my 23 Base was an insulation blanket for under the hood. I could see that hood getting hot from the engine heat.

Pop the blister and make up a story that incurred trail damage. Instant cred. 🤡

I had a bubble in the paint on the hood of my 2023 Heritage. My dealership has two locations, one with a body shop, and they buffed it out for me. They made it look quite a bit better.

My 2-door was repainted under warranty. It had much worse paint defects though.

I had a couple of very small but very unseeable bubbles in my 2023. Ford authorized re-painting that section of the hood. The paint shop that was sub-contracted did a good job but took a really long time so the dealer paid for the cost of a rental.

Hard to tell from picture, But any sign of impact would make it customer pay. If no signs of impact then corrosion from underneath on an Aluminum panel should be covered. Steel panels need holes to be covered.
Subject to time and mileage restrictions.

Appreciate the replies. Will try my luck with a different service advisor and see what happens

Hi there, George. This blistered hood concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Should you need further assistance, please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer and I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.
