"What I really meant to do is make fun of someone I don't know because of a simple error and stating a simple fact that I could clear up, but instead will state my superiority to their experience and knowledge".

I guess your original statement is shorter but less accurate. ;)
Well worded response and I shall take the sting back which I earned in stride lol.

I’m honestly trying to figure out if this comment is serious or satire…

When I attended a free Ford sponsored off-road event, the rep riding shotgun had me stop at certain key locations on the trail, in order to force getting stuck and then show off the locker/sway bar switchability. I could have done the whole trail without lockers or sway bar disconnect.

Point being this functionality is hardly if at all needed by some owners who maybe don't know much about it or have low experience. Think of all the Sas lockers never leaving pavement it's kind of silly functionality for actual usage.

Yeah, but Indio22, there are those of us who actually do. Then there‘s the guys out there and on here who REALLY DO!

It’s ok for the Bozeman Cowbois to pose a bit. They’re the reason the aftermarket is so strong for Bronco.

Why do, when you can just look like you do? Sad but true…..

This is true in a lot of off road situations too. I have only ever "needed" to unlock my swaybar twice on a trail in my PW. And one of those time was when I took the poor advice of a "spotter" when I knew I shouldn't have. The lockers I have used more liberally, but that is also because 1) if I have seen others maybe need to use I will just go ahead and do it 2) more because of the nature of the MOPAR parts I will do it to get them locked in for a while (it's often been an issue to disengage them after, but killing the car and the power will release them lol). A lot of trails you can do in 2WD, but as soon as you do the mud and snow stuff forget it. I am locking in sooner rather than later. lol

Yea, I kinda figured if someone found it by now that it would be out there already. And it does seem like there is some stuff in FORScan that they wouldn't really want you messing with, so I was hoping these would be an option too. And hopefully someone will figure something out eventually, would be really cool to unlock the sway bar wen going down a dirt road in 2WD at slightly higher speeds, just for the added plushness.
James, on any dirt road I travel at any speed I use 4H and disconnect sway bar for a much improved ride. Works great. Jim.

I believe rear locker can be engaged at any speed in any mode, just the front is speed limited, could be wrong....

That's incorrect. Have a look again the link I posted prior. Depending on which modd you are in there may be a max permitted speed for using rear locker.

Kinda, I found it in the OM but was unable to copy.

Front is limited to 20-25mph in 4L only

Rear is limited to 20-25mph in Normal, Eco Sport and Slippery when in any High Range mode.
Rear has no limit in Sand, Mud/Ruts, Baja or Rock Crawl or any mode when in 4L.

They could have made it more confusing, but I'm not sure how. I'm almost always in Normal so I would be speed limited in High Range, which is OK cause high speeds in slick conditions on road with locker engaged is a recipe for disaster. When off road in deep snow or sand a high probability I'll be in low range so OK. But I might be in High range exceeding 25 mph in snow or sand or mud so then I should be sure to run Sand or Mud mode

my brain hurts a little now. I guess the days of having only 3 tv stations are long gone.
