If I have the MORRFlate TenSix, is it possible to mount that in the engine bay?
No that is a portable compressor and it's not designed for on-board installations. We stock the TenSix compressor as well FYI

Is anyone working on an under the hood mount for the Bronco Raptor? I like the spare tire mount if there’s no other option but would prefer to install a compressor under the hood. Thanks.
If you loan us your Braptor for a week, sure. But otherwise the Braptors we've worked on we just could not find a good spot to mount them. When we do a mount it's an EASY installation. We don't want customers to have to take apart half their engine bay to mount something.

I ordered the Barnes bracket for ARB twin under hood. Was like $80. No way I’m spending $250+ for a piece of bent and painted sheet metal.
Have you been able to install the Barnes bracket yet? Thoughts?

No but I hope to get to it this weekend. I've got a few other things to install so will do everything together - at least that's the plan.

Help me please, I just got your kit today. I have a K&N CAI and before I ordered it I was told there had not been any reported issues with this. Well I didn’t get very far. I am not sure it would even clear the rigid turbo pipes. I am screwed and sad :(

What can we do?

I just saw someone made a mount for the cubby hole part of the rear tailgate door that is different then the spare tire version. Have to go find who it was.

To come full circle, I bought and installed the KR Off-Road mount for the ARB twin compressor. I thought it was straightforward and easy in spite of dropping a bolt into the engine bay which took me a half hour to extract. The supplied instructions were excellent. I like the fact that the compressor is protected under the hood and the mount seems very stable. Thank you for all of the previous comments.

After we went back/forth with Gotchaa via email/messaging we ended up ordering a K&N Filter to test fit in or shop truck. So the K&N bolting spot gets in the way of the compressor. Customers who had ran this combo in the past never told us there was an issue. They just stated it fit. But what we learned was these customers modified the bolt a bit to make it work.

We've since re-designed our brackets to allow for the compressor kits to work with the K&N filters and maybe some others. However we JUST received a fresh batch of brackets from powder coating with our older design. So we won't see the NEW design till the end of the year when we do another production run.

BUT we took feedback and made modifications.

Is there general consensus on what is the optimal compressor mount? I have a 2 door 2023 Wildtrak Sasquatch and plan to install an ARB dual on-board compressor. I know that there are numerous options including engine bay, inside spare tire carrier, and under/in the trunk. I am sure that each has its pros and cons but maybe those of you with real world experience could give some guidance. Thanks!
If you’re planning on an ARB twin, under the hood saves space in other places and is pretty stealth.

I have my twin under the hood of my 2 Dr with the 2.7 and with the ARB, the heat nor dust should not be a concern. Got mine from 4x4TruckLeds.com and have the KR Off-road mount.

The ARB is very overbuilt as I’m sure you’ve determined as well; it’s literally iron-clad reliable and is 100% cycle which basically means that overheating isn’t a thing since all air compressors get crazy hot even after one or two tires.

I wheel and when the day is done, under hood is very hot as is, but the ARB has never even shown any signs of slowing down even on tire #4 from 20psi back up to street.

Being stealth means it’s not attracting any unnecessary attention which is a plus for me. Also, on the airflow and heat concern, the hood is up when the compressor is running.

There are many options but for decent quality and price I am leaning towards Thor's Lightning on board dual compressor that can Inflate/deflate all 4 tires at once in roughly 3-6 minutes depending on which tire size you are using.
