Yep, that's your problem! here is the part number for the pigtail connector. I would just wire a new one in. HU2Z-14S411-BA

Your posts and help go so far and beyond for everyone, you're a good dude. Don't know how you do it haha - people need to be able to do more for themselves than get everything given to them on a silver platter.

Figured they would charge an arm and a leg, i think i am just over thinking it. If its as straight forward as twisting three wires together and then tapping i think ill be okay.
Don't just twist them together and tape. If possible solder the wires and use heat shrink tubing to insulate the repair. If you can't solder, use butt connectors and use heat shrink to insulate. Super easy repair. If you can't find the repair connector, you have enough wire with the damaged part to repair and reuse it.

Will do thank you! Can i use 18 gauge wire to reconnect the broken parts?

1. This post reminded me to go reset the mousetrap under the hood in my motorhome.
2. @Ducati1098 is the best.
3. I'm with @Mayhem Mike. I have the driveshaft recall and was concerned about long lead time and the dealer keeping my Bronco while waiting for parts. So I went in, "strongly requested" they order parts first. They did and will replace next Wednesday.
4. Oddly, I have the 4L backup camera issue also, but the SM found no record of it for my VIN. a battle for another day.

Okay so i do need 18 then since the blue cable is the one completely severed
If you only need to fix that one, yes. Ideally you’ll want to use what the previous wire was. Worse case if all 3 are damaged, you can go slightly larger and use 16 on all 3. Just don’t use a smaller gauge wire

I will go 16 just to play it safe then! Thank you!

This.

Solder if you can, always better long term than a crimp connection. Finish with shrink tube, just don't forget to slip the shrink tube onto the wire before making the repair....

If you have enough room, just splice the sides back together and don’t worry about ordering the new pigtail. I would fix that black/violet wire also.
It was just difficult for me to see how bad it was from the first picture.
