Wheeling this weekend I took a good hit to my passenger side front suspension and a rock bent the lower control arm mount. The rig drives straight and feels ok. But the tab is bent pretty bad.

How do you fix this? Does a new tab need to be welded on? Who would do this?

I am in denver Colorado.
Thanks

Bend it back with a big adjustable wrench.

Used large vice grips to bend one back enough to remove LCA.

Looks like you have an aftermarket bash plate. The RCI comes the closest to that control arm bracket and protects it more. I was able to get mine bent back with a crescent wrench and hammer.

Mine are also pretty bashed in, so much so that I can't remove the LCA... I haven't yet figured out how to make a repair...

I bent the passenger side rear lower shock mount inside tab. Used a 2-foot-long crescent wrench to straighten. Now have the FP rear lower shock mount skid plates.

So long as the alignment is ok leave it bent - it can’t bend again if it’s already mashed against the Lca

I upgraded from RCI to Talon's Garage front skids which protects these more.
