The code is still there under the PSCM module but it no longer works.

When I was messing with it I also found references for auto start/stop in several other modules but I didn’t wanna be the guinea pig and start changing that stuff without knowing exactly what it does.

At this point I would prefer a Forscan mod that would just default to Sport mode as it disables auto start stop and I use Sport mode all the time anyway.
That's what I mean, Ford added (hid) something in other modules.

I have played with all of the modules that reference the Auto Start/Stop. I can disable it but not without the illumination of dash lights.

I choose to use the Auto Start Stop Eliminator for Ford Bronco - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BG2L8GJZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which works perfectly. It is a simple install and only $50.
It seems like a good idea until you see the harness compared to OEM they are very thin especially vs the power wires they tap into… not sure if its a great idea due to the low quality of the connecting harness…

I've been using it seamlessly for a couple of months.

I bought one of those and weird issues started happening, chimes extra loud, single window rolling down on its own(multiple times), and more. Returned it asap and just went with the Ford Performance Procal.

We need to find out the forscan code (that procal also uses) to disable SS on the 23s… Ill be willing to pay $200 to whomever finds out and then he releases it to the public.

I'm sure glad it worked for me.

For less than $200 you could put a regular lead acid battery in and after two or three starts the system will disable the SS system.

How would that cripple it? Still a 12 volt battery. I have had customers put a regular battery in instead of a AGM and the battery module sees the difference and turns off the auto SS after a few starts.

Regular Lead Acid, lower resting voltage, less capacity and reliability.

And I almost forgot, regular lead acid batteries have more resistance.

Thanks for the idea!

So basically once the system sees the "problem" after three startimg events, it won't enable the ASS until the system is reset. So you can put the original battery back in.

Hello All, just pinging this thread again to see if the auto start stop disable is still unresolved for '23's?

Which engine and trans do you have? I tried that version and it did not recognize my 2023 2.3 with manual trans.
That link version is over 4 months old brother. Just download the current release and you should be fine
