Hmm, I will ask one of the techs. He has a Bronco too. I never noticed the LED. Mine doesn’t light up. Our Escape Hybrid and Mustang FOB have that too. Guess I never noticed the LED on any of the FOBs.
So, mine did the same after trying to disable start stop. The battery charge light was on and everything was fine. Had to use FDRS to reflash the BCM module to newest level and it was fine after that. None of the other changes ( global up, amber horizontal lights, goat modes added) caused concerns).
Ford designed the process to be done in the drive as a wait procedure so hopefully they can do it without an appointment. Thats how the are doing it at the dealership near me.
They can do it right in the drive ( takes longer to write the repair order then the reflash).
Or, they can come out to your place ( home or work) with their Mobile Service Van.
I took the column cover off ahead of time so they didn’t have to and they did it in the drive in under 30 seconds...
If your phone is inside that could be a problem. I added the keypad and keep a key blade in my wallet and one on my bcd when diving ( put my fob in a faraday bag). I can still get in if the battery is dead that way too.
Talk to the GM or Owner and get them to connect you with the regional Ford Representative. This is BS. Should have answered all your questions at the start ( warranty or not warranty) and shown you order numbers or COPIS correspondence.
I have had parts take forever, but can show the customer...
Hi,
Enjoy this forum greatly. Looking for a recommendation that isn’t Bronco related. My wife is getting an Escape Hybrid ( this will be her 4th Escape since 2002). Can you recommend a good forum?
Thanks.
Not sure why mine is different. I now put the FOB in the bag and then the console safe. If I just put the FOB in the Bronco and press the last two buttons it locks, but will just unlock when I put my hand on the back handle. 🤷‍♂️
Not okay on multiple levels. Did they even do the work correctly such as the cut out and reseal? The windshield needs to be replaced again and correctly. The glass is clearly delaminated and if they have scratched the paint it needs more than a paint pen.
The glass is an integral part of...
I just did the toggle, but 0101 should work. I leave my headlights on Auto. Daytime Running Lights have to be enabled. If it is bright enough ( light sensor) out and you are not in park with vehicle on/running, amber lights will be on. They will still blink as needed with signals.
Hope that helps.
Put on the ebrake and put in drive. Driving lights need to be enabled and auto lights on at the switch. If it is too dark, like in a garage , the regular lights come on. Drove me nuts when I did mine because even though my garage is very bright, it wasn’t bright enough for the sensor to think...
