I was able to successfully disable the double honk and set a flat EQ on the head unit. But the auto start/stop disable did not work for me. It’s not the end of the world as the button is right at my fingertip. I just forget to hit it sometimes.
I coded for auto/stop start and it never worked either. However after applying the Ford Procal performance tune, it now always lights up as off. So clearly there was some change. I told the Forscan support team I was going to send them the original as built, and now this one to see if they can determine what changed, maybe they can figure it out.

Mine did the same regarding s/s is off. I think it’s learning how I drive, but not sure.
I’m trying to get Sport Mode on my Badlands and the Forscan guys are working on it. Should hear back tomorrow.

Updated circumference on a 2023 Base to BD 32" tires and used 2430 to get things dialed in today. Removed double honk too. Worked perfect.

Those of you worried about spyware, as I was, just buy a $125 laptop and only use it for Forscan.

Also had to 'relearn' pcm and awd modules to remove 4x4 service dtc.
@subg What is the CPU minimum diag requirement you are using to run your laptop to run just Forscan. I ask, for my intent is to have a stand alone CPU dedicated just for Forscan. and a dedicated system just for it. What do you recommend?

I found a new windows 7 laptop and it worked perfect. Used the OBDLinkEx from Amazon.

I had downloaded my asbuilt file from Ford, but wanted a current back up so took me longer to backup the modules from the vehicle than make the changes.

And of course, verify your speed with a GPS app on your phone once you make the changes.

It would be good to see the as-built data comparisons for someone who added PPT - before and after to see what changed. Even just seeing it now would help - can someone who has applied it to a 2023 post their vin?

I received my ELM327 today and was pretty bummed when the auto start/stop disable didn't work on my '23 as that was the main reason I bought it. At least the annoying double honk is gone though.

Guess I'll have to keep her in sport mode until a fix is discovered.

I changed a few things using Forscan (dbl honk, amber DRLs, Bambi mode) then reinstalled the FPT. those settings worked for about a day then reverted back. Anyone else have this issue, or have any helpful information?

Also, anyway to use Forscan without using the Procal to revert back to stock then reinstall the tune?

I finally got it added. Had the Forscan team create a beta for me. They didn’t mention what was causing my problem. I’m sure it was the Performance Tune.

Is it just a matter of Ford moving the code so we can't find it?
The code is still there under the PSCM module but it no longer works.

When I was messing with it I also found references for auto start/stop in several other modules but I didn’t wanna be the guinea pig and start changing that stuff without knowing exactly what it does.

At this point I would prefer a Forscan mod that would just default to Sport mode as it disables auto start stop and I use Sport mode all the time anyway.
