I went with 37” KM3s. No rubbing although I haven’t tried cranking it all the way but on a k turn no issues. The install guys didn’t say much other than they recommend due to the new angles. I am liking the slightly stiffer ride better than stock so far. First offroad Is 5/20 so we will see.
Can’t say- I haven’t had a ton of weight in it. And I don’t plan on using this rig for overlanding purposes (2500 for that) so it’s not really going to have to carry a ton of weight. That’s a good point tho curious if anyone can comment.
There is a diff drop in RC 2 1/2" lift. Not sure how much drop. There is obviously going to be some additional angle to the CV shafts. Most people say 2 1/2" or less shouldn't be a big deal. Will they wear a bit sooner than if left stock? Probably so. At some point down the road if we keep them long enough, we have them replaced. In the mean time, we enjoy the look and ride.
No this is inaccurate. There is no diff drop with the collars bc they do not alter the suspension geometry in the same manner that a spacer lift would. If you do some research you can read about it. If you don’t want to do that call the guys at RPG and have them talk you through it.
Talked to RPG and they said the bolts and cable clamps are for the live valve wires on the hoss 4.0. They accidentally sent them with my hoss 3.0 kit.
1) Nope, handling dynamics are improved actually with LESS squatting in both braking and cornering.
Is the rockjock relo bracket a must have? As much digging as I have done, this is the first time I've ever heard someone mention it.
Nah- I don't think it's a 'must have'- I haven't had it for about 6 weeks. Hell I still don't have it. It's fine w/o but I think this will help improve driving dynamics more. Possibly track a little better on road surfaces with high crowns etc... Not urgent. But for 100$ I figured what the hell... I'll be reporting back on that too. Reality is that would be a decent mod for ANY lifted bronco. Beat $8-900 for an adjustable as well.
