My bronco has been gas lighting me lately, I find my left blinker on but I had not been turning that direction. Today I finally caught what it was doing, after making a right hand turn, if sharp enough, I end up with the left blinker on instead of going to 'off'. Anybody seen that issue? Clearly its warranty, but that also means not having the truck for 3 weeks these days to have them 'look at it.' I have 8 months and 8000 miles on a OBX.

I believe it's just the turn signal stalk that's partially triggering the opposite turn signal side because the momentum/weight of it has it go too far past center/zero. I'm not sure why some broncos have it and some don't, but hopefully this helps a bit.

Happens occasionally on mine too. I've seen others on here with the same issue, and it happens on other Ford models as well. Yes it's a warranty issue, but as you mention dealer service is swamped right now so it's not worth it for me to get it fixed. I have so many other issues but can't spend weeks without a vehicle and all the dealers here have stopped doing loaners. I guess I'll do all my warranty work myself and pay for the parts as well. Waiting for Ford to chime in to "look at it on their end" only to have my case expire before I can even get an appointment at the dealer (again). Thanks, Ford.

A-ha!
Yep, mine too.
So, the explanation is that the stalk has so much mass that when it returns from (in my case) a right turn, it passes “off” and then continues to the “Left” Position?
Weird.
Can this be fixed?

This happens on mine also, there are some threads about this. I've mentioned it to the dealer every time I've brought it in for service and every time they say they can't reproduce it. Neither can I.

I‘m now recollecting one particular turn where this happens to me often.

Same, always on a right turn from an inside lane where I go near to full lock.
And it's random
And, while under warranty, I still won't give it up for 3 weeks for them to fuck around with it.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

can you help me as well? I am having the same issue with my 2023 Badlands. Right turn that is quickly centered results in left blinker coming on

Did you end up getting this fixed at the dealership?

I am in the same boat. Thought I was nuts and somehow hitting the turn signal lever during the steering wheel return. @Ford Motor Company, please add my Bronco to your list for when a fix becomes available!
