I went with Icon tubular. I finished up the fronts yesterday - everything went together perfect, although it was a PITA doing it solo. Took the day off and doing the rears today...

I’ve been considering Icon and Zone but I just read the SPC give the most amount of adjustment? I’m squeezing 38x13.5 on it. It’ll see trail runs but nothing extreme.

What aftermarket UCA’s are recommended with the Stage 2 coil overs?
I went with the ICON Tubular UCAs w/ the Delta joint II. I could be wrong but AFAIK the Delta II offers the greatest range of motion compared to others.

Finished up my install today. It took me 2.5 days to do it by myself - would have been easier with a 2 post lift and a helper. Not gonna lie it was a PITA! I used my QuickJack, which is great, but the up and down is hard on the old bod. I've always done the suspension work on all my previous rigs - it's a great way to learn the vehicle, but if there's a next time it's going to a shop. I'm not as good as I once was... getting old sucks! I spent way too much time with the bolts on the top hats. If I could meet the Eibach engineer that decided using bolts instead of studs was a good idea, I'd kick him in the butt - maybe even the balls. :ROFLMAO: It's close, but I might need to make a few height adjustments...

Now off for an alignment and install my 37s. (y)

EDIT: I am using the heavy spring weight coils in the front due to the extra weight of the bumper and winch. The front end dropped nearly an inch with the HOSS 3. 0 Fox's. I jumped on the bumper and the Eibachs hardly moved - hopefully it won't be too stiff. The test ride around the block felt pretty good...

I didn't realize there is a heavier spring rate option?...or do the heavier springs have to purchases separately? I hadn't looked that closely yet, but when I did look at this coil over set, I could only see one part#. Is there a heavier option?

The springs have to be purchased separately and are only available for the front!

What are your thoughts on the capabilities of these coilovers. Are the extra heavy springs necessary of you plan to run a winch bumper (like the Icon) or a winch skid (like the Lobo or RC).

They are the perfect cross over for someone not wanting to do a lot of wheeling but have a slick looking Bronco that can handle your farm, light wheeling days etc.

For the springs on being needing or not would really depend on your height goals.

I will say with extra skid protection winch bumper etc it will limit the height unless upgrading the springs.

Thanks for the honest assessment. Gonna want a solid 3" lift. Was hoping these were more robust than they are. While I'm not looking to go out and beat on my rig unnecessarily, I do want/need suspension (like Icon, King or Fox) that will hold up on the 1-2X/Mo that I'll be hitting SoCal trails with fam & friends. Thanks again.

What I would recommend is getting a ICON Stage 3 minus control arms if you are not going for anything above 3inches.

Id be happy to assist and get you a deal on them

ICON & Eibach are on sale currently!
