Well crap! I haven't installed my coilovers yet, but I have a set of Barnes skids waiting...
Yeah, I'm really disappointed as the price is great and the installation method (not having to remove strut bolt/nut) was preferred.

Here's a photo of where they rub, and this is with nearly a 1/4" space remaining between the skid plate and the strut mount tab on the outboard side that it attaches to:

I've only seen one person post a review here of the Eibach Pro stage 2 kit compared to Sas suspension, and the review stated it was more 'bouncy' than stock has me very hesitant... has anyone else installed these? Do you have a review of the ride quality compared to Sas?

File or grind that area of the skid down where it’s rubbing, re-paint and re-install. Not a big deal. Looks like you just need to open up the opening more.

Yeah, I suggest to drill holes on the corners, about 1/2" forward and 1/2" aft of the trim out to establish the corner radii and then cut the metal in between with a Dremel metal cutting disk and follow up with a grinder bit to smooth it out.

I'm already at 1/2" larger cut out (1/4" forward and aft) and still need to trim more. Thought it would have been more than enough but I misjudged.

I'll eventually get to it. Just need to find the time. It's just kind of a pain to work with because it's too small of an area to use my angle grinder on. I only have so much patience with a Dremel on steel that thick, LOL.

Mine are going on this week!! Along with Zone UCA. I’ll post some before/ after pics later this week but I’m really hoping the ride is much different too.
