I was an original and mine scratched my roll bar from the strut being too close. Depending on when you ordered you may have received the updated upper brackets.

I like Rokblokz but I just couldn’t spend that on mudflaps. I went Weathertech up front only and actually like them. I like the look with no rear mudflaps better and might making people less likely to follow Betti the angry Sasquatch rock flinger.

Wait what happened with the IAG rear struts? I got them and haven’t had an issue for about 1,000 miles so far.

Feeling better about my "ugly" Weathertech flaps...
You wouldn't happen to have a picture of these offensive flaps, would you? I'd like to see just how ugly they really are.

Seriously considering cancelling the order for the $420 flaps if the Weathertechs aren't that ugly.

Here’s what I have. I’ll try to get a good one of the front flap

I don't think the rears fit the steel bumper do they?

Thanks for the info, mine scratched the ppf they provided but I rarely lower the soft top to that full low position with the windows out.

As far as flaps, I have an early order placed with RB and I’m looking forward to them being shipped soon, hopefully. Unlike most people I really like the way tally cars and mud flaps look in general, especially very thin ones on the front only. Plus yeah, the whole Sasquatch throwing rocks at itself thing isn’t gonna work for me. I already have one chip in the paint from getting on the highway after off-roading once.

Atrocious. Thanks for the pic. I'm tryin' to tackle the gap there in the front. My door handle is literally catchin' stones. Needs addressing before I end up with a re-dressing.

I installed my standard Rokblokz with crash bar on my stock badlands last night. I assembled everything on the kitchen table and then went out in the garage for bracket installation. I didn’t turn my wheels or remove any tires, I was able to install where it sat. The fronts went on just fine, The flaps don’t quite mount at a parallel/perpendicular angle to the rest of the truck, the inner edge angles back a bit. I tried adjusting the brackets, but they were already maxed out for angle. I don’t have any movement in mine like the OP here. The passenger side flap sticks out about 1/4” farther than the drivers side flap, which I prefer for additional coverage, I couldn’t adjust the drivers side out at all. When I swap to my +35mm wheels I might need that little bit more coverage. The rears bolted on just fine and are very solid. I slid them out as far as they would go and it’s just right. One of the body mount bolts requires a small socket with a narrow universal adapter to get back on without scratching the bracket. On the angle of the rear flaps, Rokblokz could reduce one of the angles on the brackets and the flaps would sit closer to vertical. I thought about straightening mine with a vise, but I didn’t want to damage the powder coating. Overall I would give these a 4 out of 5 star rating, with the fronts getting 3/5 and the rears getting 4.5/5. The fronts could stand to feel a little more solid, be square to the truck, and have some adjustability. The rears could have the bracket angle reduced so that the flaps don’t kick back as much. I would also use all stainless hardware for assembly (not sure if the current hardware will rust) and throw in the 8 screws and washers for those looking to ditch the quick release knobs.

I think they look really great. Yeah the front could skoot out just a little but it does cover the tread. Is all the prior reports of wiggle, looseness, etc gone? You got new hardware?

No wiggle on mine. All my nut clips were the gold ones, so updated I believe. Mine are non SAS, so that may also make a difference.

I get this is a 1st gen aftermarket product, and I assume they have some fine tuning to do on design. But OCD kicking in, so I must ask: 1.) Can the front flaps be adjusted so outside edge line is same as Sas fender? 2.) Can the angle of front and back flaps be made to match?

I could make better mud flaps from milk jugs and a sharpie.
One of the drawbacks of being connected to so many people via the internet….

Is being able to hear every half baked opinion folks come up with and are emboldened to share from behind the anonymity of their keyboards.

The front flaps are not adjustable, SAS uses a different bracket and flap that is wider to line up with SAS flares. The angle of front and rear can not be adjusted unless you are willing to relax one of the bends on the rear brackets. The front flaps are at 80 degrees, the rear are at about 72 degrees. The bend is circled in the third picture. There is plenty of clearance for the flap tot he rear bumper to straighten it.
