It would be interesting to compare the (6 speaker) ACM default settings in FORScan with ACM settings after it is flashed for soundbar by a service shop.

It's been done I think... And... Absolutely no difference 🤷

Would be nice to double check. @flip any chance you can check lines:

727-01-01
&
727-01-02

on the bronco you re-flashed?

Based on your signature, you have the non-B&O system correct? Need someone to try the forscan deal on a B&O system. I haven't had time after work to mess with the wife's bronco.
Why, the B&O sounds great, you just have to adjust the settings to your personal preference, loud with lots of bass?

^^ I'm voting with my hard earned money. I canceled my order and requested refund of my deposit, not because of this but because of the delay from a February 13 to late May ETA. I'm done with Ford.
See ya! 🤡

B&O is not compatible with the soundbar as far as I know. I have it and am pretty happy with the sound, and would not want a big speakers blocking the rear view (which is actually quite good, contrary to what some post, the spare barely peeks over the center headrest).

Mounting the soundbar upside down is an interesting idea and being that "far" away from the driver, probably makes little to no difference in what you hear from the back.

I might be interested in upgrading the rear speakers if someone finds out how to get full range, but so far I'm pretty happy with the surround sound setting on the B&O, just had to turn down the treble and need to stuff some acoustic mats behind the panels in the rear, sometimes there's a buzz - to be expected with a sub.
What acoustic mats did you install? I'm getting buzzing in the rear panels also and it drives me crazy.

What does that do compared to 01?
Can you be more specific as to *which* Forscan tweak? Both have been mentioned in this thread

727-01-01 XX01 ?

or

727-01-02 XX00 ?

or both?

or something else?

You can do either or.. if you have the standard 6 speaker system stick with the 00.

If you consider the B&O system great, well…I have ocean-front property to sell you in Arizona. Sucks in my f150 too.

Trust me, settings have been played with plenty of times with different sources. I know what my wife listens to as I can hear her pull into the driveway and I know what she came from in her Grand Cherokee. My wrangler that only has 4 aftermarket speakers and a 10” hidden down firing sub sounds better.

Stupid comes in all shapes and forms, I’d say you know little about audio performance! lol

Got out the laptop and hooked up FDRS to my B&O bronco. No one knew the password and the guy who does is off today. Sorry y'all, I'll try again next week.

Might give these forscan changes a shot tonight to see if they help B&O

Regarding the Forscan method to fix the rear speakers on the base (non-B&O system):

giphy.gif
As concisely as possible:

Replace your rear pod speakers with those of your choice
Connect a wired or bluetooth module to your Bronco, and turn your Bronco on (don't start the engine)
Open ForScan, save a profile if you need to, it will inventory all your modules
Choose the ACM module for configuration editing
Take a backup of the ACM module, because you should
On line 727-01-01 change 382B to read 3800
Hit the write button closest to your mouse, it should be on line 727-01-04
Turn Bronco off, remove module from OBD port, turn Bronco back on

That's it.

I didn't expect this, but thank you! You should send this over to the Forscan master thread as well as they are keeping a spreadsheet on all common changes.
