For those of you that have a DSP setup that you can manually tune, I'm curious to where you limit your low end frequencies on your 6.5 style speakers. My Kickers say they can go down to 45hz(frequency range: 43-21,000 Hz), but does that mean I should give them this full range on setup? I seem to still be lacking in the mid ranges a bit, I have more then enough highs and plenty of lows with the sub but still lack in the middle ranges for my preference.

Here is my current setup for reference.
  • Audiocontrol D-4.800 Amp
  • Kicker 800 mono amp for sub
  • Front and rear kickers, KS in front and CS in rear pods
  • Kicker L7T preloaded sub - temporary from my mustang until I decide a permanent sub setup.
I've watched a bunch of youtube videos trying to learn but was curios what other folks are doing. This is my first go in the DSP world of tuning.

im running highpass for the rears at 90 or 100 - Letting sub handle the lows. where are you setting your kick panel speakers?

I'm currently at 90hz for kick panel and rear pods. I was thinking of setting the sub up to around 100 to get some more mid range? Currently sub is at 80hz.
