Zone 3" lift vs Eibach coilovers

Getting ready to lift my Bronco Badlands Sasquatch for 37s and I wanted to get other opinions on whether I should do the cheaper Zone offroad 3 inch lift or just go for the Eibach coilovers?

Lot of options out there for coilovers and not all created equal but you'd never hear me recommending perch collars and Spacers over pretty much any of them. I'd do it right the first time

I have had both on my Badlands (with Sasquatch and 37s).

Main reason I had the Zone lift was the Eibachs were not out at time so I ran it for a couple years until I sprung for the Eibachs this summer and I have been happy with them so far. Shoot @Caleb@PandaMotorworks a DM and see if he can work you a deal with some front UCA (I reused the Zone UCA with the Eibachs).

I believe the Zone 3" kit is a mixture of top-hat spacers AND perch collars that require spring removal and replacement. That might be cheaper to buy than Eibach coil overs, but installation will cost you more (unless you do the work yourself over a weekend).

I have been running the zone lift (ready lift not out yet) on and off road for a while without problems (did add a diff drop)…it is pretty much stock handling with 35s but 37s are a little too much for the stock yellow coilovers…now set the cruise at 80 instead of 85…I have a set of Procomp 2.5 coilovers waiting to go on…Boss has them pretty cheap…

I would not do a spacer lift on top of increased spring preload.

I don’t think you will get any real increase in travel and articulation from the eibach coilovers. The numbers for travel I have seen are similar to stock. Do you have extended and compressed lengths for the eibachs? Perhaps my numbers are wrong.

I had a Zone 4" on my 2 door. Installed by previous owner. I recently took it out and installed Eibach protruck 2.0 on all four corners. Great price and nice units. The rear spacer on the Zone was cracked and was clicking/clunking on bumps. If you have the money, I would go Eibach. Mine had Bilstein 5100's on the front with the Zone spacer and perch lift and the spacers with the kit on the stock black Hitachi shocks in the rear.

yeah those are the numbers I have. They show that the travel for eibachs are similar to stock. Just wondering if there are more accurate numbers floating around. I am kinda a nerd wrt this.

don’t want to give wrong impression. Eibachs have great reviews and they are a no brainer compared to spacer/preload lift. Just looking for better data.

I need to get in touch with you guys. I am very interested in this set. I am on a 4d 2.7 Badlands SAS. Wanting to do a full coil over. Have 1” of rake currently and have a ford performance warn winch and winch plate kit on the way. Interested in running the stage 2 eibach kit, but believe I need to swap the front springs for the HD springs, to give me any chance of obtaining a level ride after the winch is installed. That’s 150 lbs or so, that I’m going to be adding to the front end. Am I in the correct line of thinking here?

So I asked myself the same question.
I went with the Eibach Coilovers, UCA , 4link bars and Track bar , the added 37" Kenda Klever MT2 on a Zero offset Mayhem wheel . I couldn't be happier . Ride is so much better than Stock SAS , and articulation is so much Better . Any questions, Please ask

Yeah, you are right on. Those HD front springs will correct that inch of droop/sag from all that weight up front. Those are sold separately, but we do provide a service to have them swapped on before shipping them out to you. So when you get them, they can be bolted right up.
