What’s the trick to unplugging the BLIS without breaking the tiny retainer clips? I had a hell of a time.

i struggled with the same thing. The female connector on the 2-wire harness has a tab,

but there’s also two L-shaped clips on the mirror to further secure it. I couldn’t do it with one hand while holding the mirror in the other. And the wire is very short. I ended up breaking the left L-clip:

Also in the above image showing both the OEM mirror on top and the Wolfbox mirror below, the pin spacing is clearly not the same. The OEM pins are closer together, so the wire harness did not properly connect to the Wolfbox mirror.

i left the BLIS disconnected and just mounted the mirror without it to try out for a couple days, but i got BLIS fault warnings every time i started the Bronco.

Oh damn. I did it in the dark with my phone light propped and didn’t see the other clip on top just the two black ones that I broke one of. Did get it off and like you looked like it didn’t match the WB connection. And it threw codes so took it back off.

Sorry I was late responding. All I can remember is I had to unplug male connector first then pry out the shiny piece that was glued on with a flathead. I was just very careful not to damage plugs or wires. You have to plug the male and female connectors together. I tried not doing this and codes went off everywhere, once plugged in, no issues.

I will say that lane changing warning light was just that, a warning. With these mirrors you can see, why a warning light if you can see.

One of the cheapest and best investments I've made so far on the beast.

HOW the heck do you unplug the BSM connector?!? I've tried & tried but can't get it apart. It's for the blind spot light on the side view mirror. Got the Wolfbox beta for the curved mirror, but...this connector is kicking my backside ~ I can depress the "retaining clip" while spreading the on-mirror tabs, but the connector won't leave its socket, like it's glued in. Prying with a pick tool, too, but unsuccessfully.

As a late 2025 build, I sent my OEM mirrors into Suma for their examination & mods. Was surprised to see the super price on the Wolfbox mirrors… I was pondering a clear set. Later sorry to hear the issues on Blindspot and the Passenger field of view.

I’d have to get the OEM’s back out, but there is clearly a wider field of view on passenger side with the Suma mirrors. Personally, until I got used to them… I felt both sides made the images to small. Still feel that way especially with Driver’s side, images are small enough you can’t see Driver detail.

Until I get the Wolfbox Rearview mirror installed, I’m looking around the 37" spare for close image.

Just mentioning the Suma is wider on both sides.
