Are you getting the Lux package and then replacing the wireless charger? or doing high/mid and adding one? I have an IPHONE 12 PRO too so interested what your plan is. I currently have an OBX Lux on order
I’m getting the High package and adding the feature of the Lux that I want but can’t get

My dealer lent me their Wildtrak with the Lux Package over the weekend and I had no problems with wireless Apple CarPlay. I was surprised at how responsive it was after hearing negative reviews of it on other manufacturers infotainment systems. My iPhone is a 11 Pro Max.

Here’s what’s happening for me. When I start the Bronco, it automatically is on the radio first. When I switch to my phone via Bluetooth, it plays what I was playing previously. Right now, that’s the Apple Music playlist I had going earlier. However, I just have a generic screen showing the song playing, not the CarPlay display. And a text came in to the phone while I’m sitting here but nothing happened on the screen because it’s not on CarPlay.

So, I went to my Apps and selected CarPlay, and it sends me to this setting selection. If I leave it set to Bluetooth, it stays like it is. If I press “Connect to Apple CarPlay,” it says “Connect your phone to USB to start Apple CarPlay.”

So, yes, it has to be plugged in. And, yeah I need to clean the screen.

I have wired CarPlay on my Audi Q7. I do t know if it’s iPhone or CarPlay but it sucks ass. I can’t imagine wireless being any better.

Uh. Okay. I have no idea what you are talking about. Mine works fine. It is much much better than Android Auto. I think you need to update your sync system or something.

Drains your battery like crazy. If you need to charge your phone while using wireless carplay, just plug it in.

Y'all need new phones or something. I have had none of these issues.

Iphone 12 pro and the wireless carplay just kills the battery
That's too bad. I just got the iPhone 13 and switched from Android. It works perfectly for me. I guess that is planned obsolescence.

Yeah wireless for me was working great for the first couple weeks but starting yesterday the audio started getting very choppy on both of two newer iPhones on latest IOS (15.1). The worst part for me is I'm often on Microsoft Teams meetings when I drive so pretty important for it to work well. Wired is the solution I guess then. I'm not quite sure how the Bluetooth and wireless work together for ACC but it's far from seamless.
