Hello, my 4dr 2024 Black Diamond's windows randomly automatically roll down on their own. I'd say on average about once per week. It has happened with all windows except the driver's window. Sometimes it will be just me in the car and the passenger will go down while on the highway. I'll put it back up and it'll go right back down. This will happen a few times in a row then it stops and won't start again for a week. I haven't been able to isolate any common variables. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you!

Any mods tied into the electrical system or Forscan?

Same! It has happened twice to me. One morning I went out to the garage, and all 4 windows were rolled down. My right side back seat window then would not roll up automatically. I had to inch it up bit by bit to get the window to close.

It took me about a month to get in to the dealer for a service appointment and wouldn't you know - the auto roll up issue corrected itself. They checked the window and reset everything - couldn't find an issue or tell me why it happened.

The only thing I can think of is that the bronco key in my pocket was compressed against something else (maybe the key fob for my other car) and the "unlock" button was held down for 14 seconds. This will roll down all the windows. See this post:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...-hold-the-unlock-button-on-the-key-fob.19306/

That could explain why the windows got rolled down but it doesn't explain - once that happens - why one of the windows won't auto roll up.

PS - the second time this issue happened I just waited a week and the issue went away again.

I’d like to see if I could assist with your window concerns. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage so I can start looking into this on my end?

No electrical system or FORSCAN mods. I got the aux switches factory installed. I did replace the pod speakers but it was plug n play.

Interesting about the key fob. In my case it's always one window that rolls down and keeps wanting to roll down for maybe 15 seconds after. I've never had more than one unintentionally roll down at once.

SSM 52470 2021-2024 Bronco - Loss Of Window Initialization
Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may experience a repeat loss of window initialization which results in a loss of short drop and/or one-touch up and one-touch down feature operation. This may be due to a recent short drop enhancement that is contained in the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM) software. To correct this condition, update the DDM and PDM to the latest software levels then download and run the Loss Of Power Window Initialization Concern application using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). When prompted by the application for a password, use DSPWR-308. If the vehicle’s DDM and PDM had software part numbers ending with CN or CR when it arrived, advise the customer that the vehicle will no longer exhibit a short drop event to all door windows anytime the vehicle is unlocked using the remote keyless entry (RKE), accessory keyless entry keypad, or the interior door unlock switch.

Need to know the opposite of how to avoid this - asking for a friend.
