Can I ask the dealer for that re-programming on my ‘23? Also, if I only unlock the driver’s door, is that the only one that comes down, or do all 4?

You can Forscan a double button press on the fob (don't recall which button) to do a all windows down, but I've not heard of what you are hoping for.

Yeah, all down “global down” is tap then hold unlock, takes a couple seconds.

Some of the newer broncos were getting the 1/2 inch drop not at opening the door, but at unlock, I’m hoping to have that programmed when I get the other two recalls done.

Yes, pretty sure it's just a module update that they need to do

Was planning on asking them to do that at nr next oil change. But now I am doing all my own fluids so I have (hopefully) zero reason to go to the dealership in the near future.... I less I want that seat belt "upgrade" to protect me from myself.

It's more like 1/2 cm but it is quite effective in stopping the rough door opening with window rattle. Mine does it when unlocked with the fob and when opening via the handle if unlocked. The problem with the latter is that it just doesn't happen quickly enough when pulling the door handle.

I asked my dealership at my last oil change, and they said I wasn't eligible for some reason. Jan. '23 Badsquatch.

Yeah, going to ask next time I use a different dealership. The explanation didn't make sense to me.

Not all Broncos have the update available.

@Ducati1098
Any idea what eliminates trucks from being update ready?
No not sure. I just know others have had the update available, but mine doesn’t.
Possibly a 2 door/4 door thing? I can’t remember if I’ve seen anyone with a 2 door get/have the update (not from the factory)

Ok thx for the insight
First glance seems stupid, but maybe ford has a different part number on a module?
Technically seems like no difference but who knows

I asked the dealership to implement this feature and they said I wasnt elidgible for my ’21 big bend. I cant stand the bounce back i get when opening it. I now have gotten into the routine of holding the door and pulling the handle until the window drops, not ideal! I also am dealing with the window not dropping at all when exiting the vehicle.
