Not for mine, I used to would just click the fob once and they all drop down. Or when getting out I’d hit unlock first one time and they’d all drop down.
That’s the video I used to get the window to drop down and go back up when opening and closing the door. And it does work properly when opening and closing the door, but after re-teaching it now it won’t drop all four windows down when I hit unlock.
Thanks for the link, that’s helpful. I suppose next time I’m at the dealership I’ll ask if they can take a look at it and reference that post.
The software update mentioned in that post removes that "drop down" feature when you hit your keyfob. Your dealer won't be able to add it back for you. But they can tell you if you indeed got the update or not.
I’m not sure when my last update was, I have it set to do updates automatically overnight. It was working just fine the morning that I had to re-teach my window and then after I did that it just stopped doing it. Next time I’m at the dealership I’m gonna ask about it and see if they can look at it because it was doing it when I bought it. I wonder if when it was made has anything to do with why one of yours does it and the other one doesn’t. Mine was made in November 2023, maybe earlier 2023s don’t.
I think the short drop on unlock feature is supposed to prevent the window catching on the top weatherstrip when opening the doors. If you just pull the door open, it will catch. You have to pull the handle and pause for a second while the window drops to prevent it from catching on the top weather strip. It’s a crappy design. Hopefully a fix will be provided. I finally got my wife to pull the handle and pause before opening the door. Lol.
